The LT that we drove did not have it. Maybe it is an SS option.

According to the "Initial Ordering Workbook", it's standard in all models.

Certainly is helpful! It took me a while to find the right configuration of seat position, back position, and wheel position to feel comfortable.

My Honda has this.... Why is it a big deal?

I was in a standard model today for first time and specifically looked for it as I too read about it and could only find the tilt (

But, I bet it fits you like a glove now doesn't it?

i sat in a 1LT on saturday and it was telescoping

SillyCamaro 04-28-2009 01:01 AM

I had a Nissan Altima that I rented for a few weeks to drive while my truck was in the shop and it hand the telescoping wheel. I didn't know it had it till I allowed my dad to drive it and he changed the tilt on the wheel. It had a handle under the wheel you pulled down to tilt it. Well at the same time I had an itch, I was tilting the wheel and pushed in and the wheel pushed in. I then pulled out and the wheel pulled out, I almost thought I broke it!! Maybe the Camaro is like this, It may be the same control as the tilt but it takes a little effort to get it to telescope.

well it's great for people built like a T-Rex... big long legs, big heads and short tiny arms... :sm0:

It's just another level of adjustment to fit different sized people and driving styles and positions. I think its awesome! This car really has a lot of great features most of it's kind wouldn't.
