RX Catch Can came But ?

My Dad got his can today but said its missing the PVC. He said its not in the box but shows it on the first page of instructions. Does it even come with the PVC?

Can you show me a picture? The cans all ship with an integrated poly checkvalve that also controls the amount of flow as a PCV valve. The metal PCV valves we used to use were to noisey for some so instead of a $1.50 PCV valve we use a $6 poly pintal checkvalve.

Show me a picture please.

It shows it on the first page, the metal looking hose with ball. So what your saying is the PVC is in the can.

lol that's actually black plastic and its the stock LS3 hose that you remove. Basically the hose is removed and the can and its hoses replaces it.

Oh and that's not a ball you are seeing on the left side. It's just a weird angle of the inside of that quick disconnect.

You are welcome. Tell him to chill, it's all good. Since it's your dad maybe keep the chill part to yourself:D

And yes there is a valve, it's the outer most fitting that has a slightly larger body then the center one. The center one is just an open access point with a hose fitting end.

Lol, yeah He hates his car! Always has and always will. I psoted the pics of his spark plugs the other day. Maybe that's why the car was so slow?

Sucks that he hates his car. I'm probably his age and love my car. I have 9300 miles and just got the car mid June.

Didn't see the spark plug post, What was up with them?

Burnt bad and missing pieces. Ted said get a catch can for it.

If he hates his car, why does he keep and continue buying parts for it?
Not judging, just curious.

I'm not sure what a catch can has to do with burnt plugs with missing pieces.:iono: But if I had those problems my dealship would be taking care of it under warranty...and with a free rental.

Ted Said it was from the oil getting to the plugs. He is having the can put on in the Am and the guy that he is talking it to is going to take his CAI off and look for oil in it and clean it out if oil is in it.

He took the car to the dealer before for a reflash and the dealer said they did not even know what that was! They said if no light came on and no codes they can not do anything and to just drive the car. I found a dealer that flashed it for him forgot what they charged. His tranny was messed up from RDP before.
