1 of 3 GM Bumblebee Sweepstakes Camaros in NH (member ocolgan's car)

As featured on homepage.

Hi everyone,

I just left my dealer, Banks Chevrolet in Concord, NH with some pictures from my camera phone. I will go back later with a real camera and get better shots.
The winner of the sweepstakes decided to have theirs delivered here. I talked with Tim, who does the special orders, and he knows a lot about Camaros. He told me that there are very few options on the car. It is a 2SS with 21" wheels and the stripes are painted on. I asked about any special badges and he said he didn't see any inside or out.

I did notice the wheel weights.

Rich

That should be Scott Colgan's car, based on the location. "ocolgan"

Does not look like it is worth the extra $$ to me...

Yeah, you're right. Because FREE! wasn't worth it. :sm0:

Oh, wait, I forgot he's got to pay income tax on it so figure maybe he'll be paying $10-$15k for the car, depending on his tax rate.

I dont think this is the one for the Transformers sweepstakes that was held when the DVD was released. Those were going to have the actual color of Bumblebee on it, this is just Rally Yellow. Might want to double check that.

Per the winner it was not to have special paint, just RY. It was to have Stitching, graphics, unique vin, etc.

Also, FREE I would be fine with it. The "other" special edition ones they are making does not seem to make sense.

Unfortunately, GM told him that it would be Rally Yellow and not the color of the actual Bumblebee cars.

Start with post #263 from ocolgan.
