Disable Daytime Running Lights?
 

I want to install HIDs in my 2010 Camaro 1ss. I only want them to come on at night. How do I disable the DRLs so this can work? Thanks in advance!!!:bow:

I think I got it!!!!! Take the hot wire from your headlights and put it on your parking lights, then take your positive from your parking lights and put it to your headlights. This way your parking lights will come on when you start it up, and your headlights will only come on when it gets dark. After 5 new threads and over 200 views I solved my own problem.

on the rs all you have to do is turn the nob to the left and it will say automatic headlight off. TOO EASY

he means permanently.....

I remember reading a post in the chevy trucks forums that ther is a sequence to turning them off.I may be the same for the camaro:iono:

yep i remember that too it had to fdo with the dome lights on and off 3 times haha i tried that .. litteraly searched everywhere
even in the fusebox i pulled the fuse where it says fog lights.. and they stil;l stay on

never mind, I appears that the head lihgt has a 3 wire plug!!!!!! SO EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
