I'd retrofit HID projectors into the stock headlight assemblies.

If I got one the very first thing I'd do is get a safety bar, 5-point harnesses, fire extinguisher and tow hooks. Then I'd see how it feels/performs on the track as it is right out of the box. There's a good chance the stock Z/28 would out-perform my current skill level on the track. If I was serious about racing it, (and if I was younger) I'd get myself to a racing school and learn how to drive it to the point where I actually needed and could use upgrades.

Performance/specs-wise this car is stunning for what it already is stock. If they keep it under $70k it will be the deal of the century for racers.

I stood myself no mods for the ZL1 and that was a lie :lol:

I'm on the fence about the Z28 as the purchase to leave stock for collectibility
