question about 78 camaro swap

hey could you fit a 454 in a 78 camaro? i am not worried about heater or running anything off the belts besides the alternater and possibley the water pump. Going electric fans. I can fabricate pretty well, and if there are any suggestions or someone who has done this before, any input would be apretiated

It can be done with all factory parts. The SS 396 was available in 1970 through 1972 so it does fit the 2nd gen. Try a resto company for parts.

Not a problem. This is a pic of my 78 with a 454. It does fit with stock heater core, that was taken out later. Iti's been in there for about 16 years, currently taking back apart for some upgrades....
