Saw Fast & Furious tonight. It's.... GOOD!

Hey all -

I saw Fast and Furious tonight with my GF, at her request. The first movie was ok and the rest were garbage, but this movie was surprisingly... good!

Yes the dialog is goofy, and the story is kind of pointless, but so what. You don't need to take a movie like this too seriously anyway. All the action scenes were fun and the ending had the audiience cheering. There is quite a bit of CGI in the movie but its pretty good and except for some "impossible" scenes its all pretty transperent. It's worth the $10.00 ticket and 1h:45 of time.

No 2010 Camaro's though.

I didn't like it. I didn't like how they really downplayed the muscle the cars except for the grand national. The rest were, at best, 50% of what they should've been. I mean the charger...???... You ever seen a car in person with an engine like that? Well in reality I don't care is 1000 imports were present, when that charger started up no one should hear anything but 800-1200hp of v8 pistivity. The cars looked good, but the movie did a horrible job of capturing the personalities of the cars in this one, unlike they did in FF1 with the ricers making everyone go buy a civic or integra. Now with this FF4 they've got every body with their little rice burners thinking all cars are equal and all of them are trying to race us daily!
