Anyone have rear end link issues with aftermarket sway bars?
Has anyone had any issues with rear end links after switching to aftermarket sway bars? I've only heard about font links bending. I plan on only upgrading my fronts when I change the bars and upgrading rears if necessary.

It happens. The stock ones are not made for to handle stiffer sway bars.

The rear enlink is so short, I doubt you will see it bend. It is far more likely that you would see the ball joint fail in the rear endlink. If we change the discussion from failure to wear the topic gathers greater significance. Look at the strength of Pedders and other brand-x bars.

OE ball joint life will be significantly shorter. You paid for improved performance from aftermarket sway bars and the only way to get what you paid for is to have an extremely efficient ball joint. You have two choices. Once is do it race track style and use spherical joints. They are strong and efficient, but they either are noisy when you buy them or will become noisy after you use them. That makes them a poor choice for most 5th Gen owners. No problem with mine, but only a month on the new setup.

if you're hittin' twisties a lot the front ones are longer and would probably bend or show wear first. no problems here on mine after about 3 weeks - and they've gone through some "heavy" testing ;)
