My wife and I had been thinking about buying a sports car for quite some time and finally took the plunge a couple of months ago and bought one of the few new 2012s that were still available. Our original intent was to go with a 2013 2SS/RS and add the ZL1 wheels and some performance parts but we ended up getting a great deal on the real thing. We only have 1300 miles on it so far but we are getting close to getting through the break in period. We are looking forward to seeing what it can do on the drag strip at Camaro5 Fest.

I think it's debatable to call it a Muscle car, I might lean that way myself. The ZL1 I think can be, doesn't have to be, but can be called a sports car, it sure does better what so many other sports cars try to do.

Pony, Muscle, Sport, BadA$$, I think you can call it any of these.

As I'm fond of saying, I want the T Shirt that says "Detroit Muscle, Engineered in Australia, Built in Canada."
