Good Price on 2010 SS?

I'm going next week to look at/drive a leftover new 2010 black SS/RS at a nearby dealer. MSRP is $38,000+. It has polished wheels and sunroof. The salesman is a longtime friend, and has already guaranteed me supplier pricing (which I don't qualify for), as well as the $1000 dealer cash on 2010s and the $1000 loyalty discount. They've had the car sitting on the lot for probably 8 or 9 months and really, really want to move it. I'm pretty sure they'll come down even more than what they've mentioned. Anyone have a ballpark price where I should say "Sold!"? Thanks for any opinions...

Whats the sticker? And what price is giving you?

With supplier pricing + 1000 + 1000 it sounds like you're getting around $3200 off sticker.

But make sure the sticker is really $38K (i.e. not pumped up with dealer addons). Is it a 2SS with AT? If so, that's a fair price for a year old car. You should be getting at least $3000 off...

MSRP is $38,350- Sticker price- No add-ons. It's a 2SS/RS with Auto. Supplier price + dealer cash + loyalty offer brings it to about $35,000. I THINK I can get another discount from the dealer since they are so anxious to sell it. I'm hoping for around $33,000ish, but we'll see.

If you can get a 2SS/RS for 33K you better take it and run. In fact buy two of them! :)

I just got an offer for a 2010 2SS/RS, black with silver stripes, sunroof and the 1500 accessory package for 32,000 out the door, plus they will make my first month payment. Good deal??

If you are around $34-$35000 that would be a very solid deal for you. Well worth the money.

I'm anxious to get to the dealer, drive the SS, and then talk further about it if I like it. Just waiting for the weather to improve. Tennessee has been like Minnesota this winter. 6+ inches of snow coming in tonight.

How much off are new 2010's compared to 2011's? There's a new 2010 2SS RS with auto going for $33k and change ($3500 off). I would also be able to get the gm loyalty discount ($1k) and another $2k off by 1/31 cause they bumped my GM Card earnings to $2k temporarily. Awfully tempting...
