Car went in for a makeover two weeks ago...and its DONE!
 

Finally got the car into the body shop to have the new Rk Sport hood and ZL1 bumper painted. Also having the stripes painted on the car, so the trunk and spoiler are getting some love to. Excited, but I hate not having my car. I'll post some pics next week and the finished product.

Hoping so, been waiting two years to get this hood on the car, and the ZL1 front end was just an extra treat. Not a cheap upgrade but I am looking forward to it, will also make the car very unique from the rest around here.

Went to check out the car today. They got the hood to fit perfect and have painted a black base coat on for the stripes, said he was going to lay out the masking for the stripes today if he gets to it before it get to hot (todays high is forcast as 106). Hoping they paint the rest Monday or Tueday next week. Took some pics I will post after work, nothing much to see right now but we are getting there.

Here are some pics, grey hood was during the test fit. They painted the hood and trunk black for the stripes first and will apparently paint it yellow over that.
