my turbo build. "Project fastest street 5th gen" UPDATE: 03/25/13

UPDATE POST 10/27/13 post #488
I sold my silver fourth gen to start a new project. My 2010 Camaro I have had since new. It was my DD for about 8 months, after that I just drove it when the 2002 was down. Well now its time to spot light it. Trying to make tx2k13. Rundown on what I am doing.

-custom front mount turbo setup retaining everything but a/c but will keep if i can.
-Precision X275 88MM turbo
-Chisled 36x5 air/air intercooler
-Squash performance E85 in tank pump
-G-Force 9 inch IRS rear end (most likely)

I will update thread with pictures as we go.

Squash performance 1400hp E85 in tank setup. Very good guy to deal with and carries a nice warranty on the pump.

Intake

Finished tearing the car down last night, test fitted the intake. It will work perfect with the stock hood. Might switch to the 6061 elbow though.

Looks like one heck of a build for the street! If we can help you out with a 9 inch that has proven itself with the record for the best sixty 1.29 and more 9 second Camaros as well as more miles than any 9 inch on the road, over 50,000 miles!,please give me a call and ill go over major differences and give you a price to make you smile...

Be aware that you will probably have to run more fuel and less timing to the rear cylinders because of the way the air flows around that elbow. I have something similar on my 10.5 car but it comes in from the rear and the front cylinders get all the air. Its not a problem just pull all the plugs and compare after some WOT pulls. I had to adjust something around 15% on my car from front to rear.

After I said this I wasn't sure the stock OS allowed this. I have Big Stuff on my racecar and it does. However I just looked and HP Tuners does allow a Static retard vs Cylinder and an Injector Gain vs cylinder. I have never used this with HP tuners and there is a warning that some operating systems can cause high rpm operational problems when using this.
