Question about LG Motorsports chassis brace system

Has anyone installed this system and have any feed back on it.

What is the weight?

What kind of clearance on lowered G5 Camaro?

How does it perform and can you tell a difference?

Thanks

(JDP Motorsports is a great place to purchase all the parts you need!)

Chassis bracing will not change your suspension feel much if at all. Look at the front sub connector; the mounting points are all on the engine cradle near where it mounts to the frame of the car. The front subframe is already an extremely solid piece. The bracing is just extra weight.

There are more cost effective choices if you are looking to improve suspension. Pfadt Rear cradle bushings, C/O's, and a bushing set come to mind if you have not done those yet.

I have done all the above that you have mentioned and a few other suspension goodies. Car is at Lethal Racing getting a 427 dropped in as I type.

I was just looking at spending money and was curious of the benefits of this system. If it isn't really a big help no biggie. I'm thinking about ordering the CTS-V front brake kit and a '14 SS hood this next week.

Thanks for the info

The biggest part of chassis brace...the rear that ties the cradle to the chassis is the part you will indeed feel. Torque the bolts tight and it eliminates a lot of the bushing movement out back.
