the Original ZL1 from chicago could be in NYC or a new grey one could be?:iono:

You're right about the wheels, leather knob, and steering wheel. The shifter boot was still suede and it had the stripe.
If someone can see what the vin on the one at NY, I can tell you if it;s the same one.

Good luck, if you can get that close. Don't post it. PM me. Don't know if the GM people will like you posting it in public

Rumor has it that the ZL1 that is at the NY Auto Show is Gray. This was according to a dealer rep that viewed the cars yesterday when they were put on display for the dealers. Now this would not shock me because when the ZL1 was shown to dealers at a GM Conference my dealer I buy from said the one there was gray. So, only time will tell if this is true, but it should be interesting.

There was a gray ZL1 today at the NY Auto Show, however it was the SLP's ZL1 750 HP limited production version, SLP also had a red Vette with the window glass hood and polished blower. Both very sharp indeed! :chevy:

I know this isn't related and I'm not one for thread jacking but I'm just DYING of curiosity. Is there ANY information at all about the C7 Corvette?

Nothing about that at the NY show today. There even wasn't a ZR1, they only had up to a Z06 on the floor, very sharp I might ad. :chevy:

I have no idea what I'll be wearing lol.

NO ZR1?????!!!!!! WOW!!!! Can you sit in the Z06 at least?

There is only 1 of these "finished" ZL1's used for public display at shows. I chatted with the pretty Chevy floor rep with the ZL1. She's on board with Camaro 5 too!. So, whatever was out at the fest was probably one of the mules I speculate. Not the official pre-production almost finished we're still working on it this is what we think it will look like prototype ZL1 as seen only a few times previously. :chevy:

Yes, it's orange, and it's open for hands on inspection. Beautifull car. :chevy:

The car at the fest was a pre-production car not a test mule.

In fact, I think it's the pre-production.

It's not so hard to switch out the shifter, steering wheel, and wheels.

maybe so, info is there is only one travelling on the car show circuit.....thats what the Chevy rep told me.. That would explain the few limited appearances. :chevy:

This is the best my camera could do from distance of the ZL1 interior..:chevy:

My understanding is that there are currently two ZL1's making the circuit. Both are victory red. One has the stripe option on the roof and trunk and has the optional suede interior with stock ZL1 polished wheels. This one has been at the Chicago, Dallas and New York shows. The second car does NOT have the optional stripe decal on the roof and trunk and has the standard leather (2SS) interior with the optional black SSX wheels. It has only appeared so far at CF2.
