motor swapping question

can the LS7 or other ls based engine be swapped into and LS3 camaro using the factory ECM, and just reprogram or tune it to work with the swapped engine?

Yep absolutely! We handled the programming for a LS7 swap into a new Caprice (x cop car) just last year.
