Who is excited about the Convertible?

Just curious who is looking forward to the Convertible Camaro?

papabearcamaro 10-01-2010 06:49 AM

It looks nice but nothing I am interested in.

Jus1dab 10-01-2010 06:56 AM

It's gonna help GM sell more Camaros

I agree I didn't like it at first but now I love it. I might try to buy one, if money is right. :iono:

I'm not a vert fan of any make or model.. but it is a nice looking car. As in all verts they look great with the top down and ugly with the top up which in this part of the country is how most spend their time.

Yeah, I don't know what the final pictures will look like of the top up, but I'm hoping for the best. :emoticon14:

I'm happy it's coming out, and even happier I didn't wait. I wanted a convertible since I saw my first concept. They changed it enough to make me go with the hardtop. I'm excited to see the people that have been waiting all this time finally get theirs though.

2001ragtop 10-01-2010 09:16 AM

I have been waiting for a new Camaro Convertible since August 2006, when i joined this site and there was only 148 members.

We are lucky GM is making cars like this. Should get interesting seeing these on the road. Normal Camaros already get tons of attention. now they have this car.

Andro 10-01-2010 10:11 AM

Nope!

rtcat600man 10-01-2010 10:33 AM

going to buy one, no, for many reasons.

joes407 10-01-2010 04:40 PM

rydahog 10-01-2010 04:43 PM

TiffBiff 10-01-2010 04:57 PM

It's gonna be my graduation present to myself :). I deserve it. Widowed @ 34, raising a 5 & 3 year old by myself (they were 2 & 2 months), working full time & school full time. Graduate May 2011 (20 years to get). Graduated high school with a 1979 Z28 & college with a 2011 RS/SS vert :D.

TommyTSquared 10-01-2010 04:59 PM

Indifferent about it honestly.

Amn_Bly 10-01-2010 05:02 PM

Possibly one day, or maybe the z28, or a conv. z28. But currently i am happy with my 2LT.

Ditto... not on the site as long, but been waiting just as long. Definitely looking forward to it.

I initially wanted one when they first announced the Camaro was coming back. But, like everyone else who wanted one so bad, when the coupe finally came out, I was impatient.

My original plan was to trade my coupe when the convertible came out, but now that I've had my car almost a year, I can't imagine parting with it.

But the vert does look great and I will probably be jealous when I see one on the road. LOL

ckaram 10-01-2010 05:03 PM

I'm excited about it, but don't want one. Anything that helps sell the beast, I support.

Not crazy about the look with the top up. I was smart? lucky enough to grab a 1968 Camaro convertible with original drivetrain 10 years ago before the muscle car market really blew up, so I'll drive that one when I want the wind in my hair!

And you, sister, deserve it! Go for it and make it HAPPEN!

R Kern 10-01-2010 05:50 PM
