Update pics 10-7-10 light mod.

Hello My fellow Camaro addicts, just finished installing my heritage grill and T3 Scoops (painted by Gary's Customs), Gary did a very nice job. :bow:Installation of the heritage was pretty simple,:) the T3 scoops require measuring, cutting and sealing, so they are more work and take a lot more skill. I will be working to mod the T3's, so i can mount my DRL's. I am also waiting for my Razzi Ground Effect kit which Gary is also providing. I should have that sometime next week.:D

thanks

Lupe

we made a bracket to go on top of the T3's for the red lights, my goal was not to be able to see the led's but only to fill the scoop with the red light when i had my red halos on. next we added the white LED strips just like the manufacture offers. I'm not sure if im going to leave them that way or not. we were going to mount the factory DRL's but they just didnt look good to me.

Looks great.

I bet that was painful the first cut...hehehehe.

ffrcobra_65 10-01-2010 03:43 PM

wow. The looks awesome! Love the scoops! You got skillz man. I would be scared to cut for fear of incorrectly measuring and end up butchering the job. I have had the heritage grill from Gary for 5 months now, still in the box!

CamaroDreams07 10-01-2010 03:44 PM

Wow..no way do I have the cajones to attempt that. Great job though.

summitSS 10-01-2010 04:00 PM

Nice Lupe....yes...your Camaro is evolving. Awesome.

CamaroDreams07 10-01-2010 04:02 PM

Just saw you're in San Antonio. Any interest in making a buck off of installing these if I ever made the trip down there?

Kilo-9 10-01-2010 05:08 PM

Looks very nice! I don't have the stomach for that kind of cutting. :)

rhd 10-01-2010 06:16 PM

Rei C 10-01-2010 06:55 PM

that looks amazing Lupe! if I had the time and patience (and the skills you have) I think it would be awesome to be able to do all my mods myself. you did a great job!:thumbup:

Are you serious? The T2 ports look way better..

I wish they made the T2 ports for the V8...

T3's......T2's are too much IMHO..........

daphatgrant 10-01-2010 08:55 PM

Looks great man! :w00t: But damn did I get the shivers from just looking at the pics of you cutting her up and she's not even my baby, lol. Was lining the templates up the same on each side easy? That's my biggest worry here that they'd be off-centered or one would tip down or something. I also wonder if these will work in conjunction with the air scoop from ADM. This is a mod I certainly plan on doing on my car in the near future, I want matte black though.

Ohh btw, thanks for the pics, I and I know many others have been really wanting to see pics of this being done so an extra  for the very detailed install. If this isn't already in the DIY section it should be :).

GJG 10-01-2010 10:52 PM

Lupe,

love the look and am seriously considering it myself after seeing yours!

Question......with all this new air being funneled into the area behind the bumper.....have you noticed any air noise....roaring etc?????

also......how does the rear piece attach to the front piece???

khabboub 10-01-2010 11:02 PM

damn that looks good, but no fog lights?

CamaroFTW 10-01-2010 11:27 PM

Looks great and nice work. I am waiting for Gary's DRL mount mod before I do this.

ACS Composite 10-01-2010 11:57 PM

Great job on the install !!

Car looks great http://www.camaro5.com/forums/images...s/thumbsup.gif
