Just happened today, should be more information on Fox 5 DC at 5pm. Apparently, the police SUV was on its way to an assignment when it "crossed" into the movie perimeter. WOW!:confused0068:

video of the crash at http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpp/entertain...-101110?ref=nf

SA CHEVY 10-11-2010 03:16 PM

Part of the movie perhaps??

Arabiannite 10-11-2010 03:22 PM

No, it wasn't part of the movie, that was confirmed, they have video of the crash at http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpp/entertain...-101110?ref=nf

I got dibs on the rear tail lights haha.

SA CHEVY 10-11-2010 03:27 PM

Haha man that sucks! Such a shame to have such a beautiful ride destroyed!

Kreature 10-11-2010 03:30 PM

wow that police van sure looks like it held up well against bumble bee

ud_lose 10-11-2010 03:31 PM

I hope the dog in the K-9 unit wasn't hurt. Looks like they will be taking another Bumblebee out of the trailer to finish shooting this scene.

thecamaroguy 10-11-2010 03:31 PM

ouch!

Sir Nuke 10-11-2010 03:33 PM

wow, I wonder how many they have just waiting for this kind of thing to happen.... and I bet someone is TROUBLE at the popo station.

Johnnyma45 10-11-2010 03:34 PM

Sucks! Wonder if Optimus and co have Geico. 15 minutes could save you 15 percent!

Maybe Bay should make that Police Tahoe an Autobot...takes a hit and looks fine, whereas Bumblebee's all smashed up.

25thanniversary 10-11-2010 03:34 PM

wow that sucks

AnnaBear@SpartaChevy 10-11-2010 03:34 PM

YIKES!! :yikes: :confused0068:

Isnt the roads usually closed anyway? Im surprised no one could radio in to the driver and tell them a emergency vehicle was going to be cutting across

DIGthat2SS 10-11-2010 04:01 PM

i wonder how that police officer thought it was okay to drive throught there seeing huge cars driving in unisen all over the road(they werent driving like normal cars) and how that entire area is gated and closed and huge ammounts of spectators were around his area looking directly at him and im guessing there were some cameras around the corner were bumblee was coming that he could have seen but naaawww..he just kinda strolled on through.idk if he did that on accident so much buuutt on a side note.why where his sirens on?

Russell James 10-11-2010 04:02 PM

Hope the dog is OK if there was one in the K-9 unit.

Explain that one to your boss - I got T -boned by a movie stunt car.

cab2g 10-11-2010 04:03 PM

dang, well, looks like the crumple zone did wonders.. I mean seriously. I wonder if they actually have a backup of the car? They probably do, I mean with millions of dollars for a budget what's another 40k car with prototype mods...

oh. and I bet the cop was just responding to an incident. he may have been on duty at the set but got called off. I am sure he wasn't just being a d-bag flashing his lights! I'd sure hope that the police/paramedics wouldn't take the time to wait until they finished filming a scene if they were responding to an emergency.

GLD66Cutlass 10-11-2010 04:04 PM

Just saw the video on the news...that suxxx

Ghost Rider 10-11-2010 04:06 PM

I hope they have more than one bumblebee.

Number 3 10-11-2010 04:10 PM

So who's calling to see if they can buy the wreckage? LOL
