Pumpkin [COTW 12/5/11]
You have to start some where. How about where it all began. June 29th 2009 when I first layed my eyes on Pumpkin.
I peeled off the shipping tape and removed the plastic from the drivers seat, bolted on my plate and drove Pumpkin back to the dealer from train yard.
Few more pic's delivery day
Pic's form Preston Chev in Langley BC after I drove Pumpkin back from the train yard.
Down side I had to leave Pumpkin at the dealers overnight for PDI and clean up.:mad0260:
June 30th 2009 the Happy Day. Pumpkin lost in the in-famous Area 51 for 59 days. Became one of the final four in Area 51.

My home track is Mission Raceway Park NHRA division 6 in Mission BC CDN. We have a great Friday Night Street Legal program there sponsered by Mopac Auto Supply.
I have to admit the first year I was a bit of a jack -ss could not get Pumpkin to go faster then 13.91 @ 109 mph.
However with a few mod's and a couple of tips from from some forum member I did a little better and managed to make a fast C5 fast list.:happyanim:Photo by Larry.
Few more tricks for the track
My buddy Derrek and I set out to install MSD 2-Step, Shift Light and TCI Roll Control. Due to some un-forseen issues we were only able to get the MSD Shift light operational.:mad0260: Next year the will all be working for some visits to the track.

Colleen and I belong to the Pacific Northwest Camaro Club who host the Camaro all Chevy Show yearly at the XXX Rootbeer Drive Inn in Isaquagh WA. Our guest of honor this year was Scott aka Fbodfather.
Looking good bud!!!!
How did you manage to drive your car to the dealer from the train yard???:confused0068: I want in on that secret!!!
By the way, thanks for the hook up with Doug at Preston. He came threw and gave me the best price over any other dealer including Carters who my family has been dealing with for 20+ years and have bought 30 cars from!!!:paddle:
Going to place order in the New Year. Can't wait:thumbsup:
My car was stuck in Area 51 for 60 days. I knew it was in Anninacis Isle before the dealer did. They were not willing two call my bluff when I told them to deliver it by June 30th or keep it.
Fbodfather signature cleared.
The final step was to clear the signature in.
Great mods and work so far!!!!
Pumpkin's 1st Show n Shine
