Maybe....Maybe not......I found this while watching the video posted by GM on a prototype for SEMA...
It say's wheel size 20 x 10 and 20 x 11 via Z/28 blanks...check what's written under suspension in the video.
Zoom in at 2:03 of the video below:

UPDATED 11-11-2010: Tire size up front is 285/30 R20 and rears are 295/35 R20

I hope they come in chrome

For as much money as the Z28 is supposed to cost, The wheels better be solid gold!

huggercamaro21 11-11-2010 12:58 AM

It does say z28 wheels. Good find.

RLHMARINES 11-11-2010 01:04 AM

It shows a polished picture of the wheel also in the video, it could very well be our wheel. Now if we could only get a better close up. Any one who went to sema has any close up of the info board that was out at the media day @ spring mountain with pics to share?

DGthe3 11-11-2010 01:11 AM

Makes sense. They look like they'd be about the same weight as the ones on the red prototype

RLHMARINES 11-11-2010 01:38 AM

I think i like the ones on the red prototype a little better.:iono:

I still like this one too....which is supposed to be the tuning fork design that was rumored to be on the Z.

Decibel JJ 11-11-2010 04:50 AM

Those wheels are BAD !, I hope they make on to the Z28 !

FxsX24 11-11-2010 07:42 AM

the GM poster says Z-28, i thought it was Z/28?

wildrova 11-11-2010 07:46 AM

They're kinda similar to the hsv pentagons in aus...

That leads me to believe the Z/28 will have 20x10s in the front and 20x11s in the rear but that those are not necessarily what they look like. "Blanks" are what a wheel is before anything has been machined.

That particular vette has more than just good looks. ;) Better brakes, better suspension for the track, Bigger wheels/tires, hell i think the tranny even has shorter gears and some more features only found on a Z06. Something about the frame or oil system if I remember right:rolleyes:

Sorry for the thread jack. :yikes:

Dan@showstopper 11-11-2010 11:27 AM

Good eye, I was thinking the same thing when I saw the SSX
