Can I ask how much this would cost. If too much, I might as well bought a 2SS.

I think it's around $6k out the door, but it's been awhile since I talked to the shop about it.

I haven't been spending as much time on these boards but I was always very interested to see if STS fixed the issues with their turbo system for the V6 cars.

Is everything working well now?

Everything is working great. No issues that we have found yet. We are looking to push more PSI than 5 lbs and hopefully once we re-route our oil line into the pan then we can go for the 7 PSI without meth.

Yes you are correct about that price. But it also depends on if you are going with the upgraded ball bearing, gauges, gauge pod and size of turbo.

That's sweet. :w00t:

Can't wait to see the potential grow for these cars.

Hmm, i havent looked at STS in a while. Looks like they are pretty good =p

If you are buying a v6 for performance then I would go with a v8. Lack of tunability and options is what I have found so far.

a red maro 12-26-2010 02:33 AM

yeah but the V8 period is pretty pricey and the monthly payments are killer!! looked into buying an ss when i went to buy my 2LT, would've gotten it but wouldn't even be able to breath with the money that i would have left from the monthly payment.

I agree most of us cant afford the monthly payments and insurance so we get what we can.
