Inside Door Pull Lights

2 Attachment(s)
I just added these last week. Tied-in to window switch light so it dims with the dash. I really love how it came out!

Dude those look awesome. Are you going to do a DIY as the wife keeps complaining on not being able to find the handle?

The Stig 01-11-2011 06:13 PM

Looks great man. Any chance you will be writing a DIY

Heh! Thanks guys! Useful is a nice bonus to this mod! ;)

This version requires drilling into the door panel. If you are up for that, it's easy!

Just wire-up two LED's with resistors (my LED's used 2.2K ohms), pull the door panel, connect it to the window-switch lighting wires (yellow and black), drill a 3/16" hole in the top of the handle well, insert the LED, and remount the door panel. Easy-peasy!

If there is enough interest, I could put some kits together.

Nice TonyNo I did the same thing with my FJ Cruiser. Plan to do the same with my Camaro as soon as I can get some money for mods again LOL.

SamReidland 01-13-2011 10:22 PM

That looks great! Our CTS has those from the factory and I like them.

jagan323 01-13-2011 10:44 PM

good job, kits are probably nice, but a good DIY write up like your footwell light ones, would be just as good!

Hey TonyNo, what is the part number for the LEDs, and where did you get them as that matches the blue lights of the interior perfectly?

Thanks, Peter

sherifdude 01-14-2011 02:38 PM
