Fbodfather showed pics of his new CTF. So I thought I would share mine.

It also is a Captured Test Fleet GM vehicle that I am lucky enough to drive for several months.

Have not got a name yet, but she is very very orange!

It is a 2LT RS No Sunroof but everything else.

So far after a hour and half ride home,,, I love her!

6 spd Manual.

The new steering wheel is much nicer, at least to me as I was not a fan of the previous version.

The soft stitching on the dash really help with the expanse of gray/black plastic on dash.

And she may be a 6, but she still zips right along!!

Also like the locks on the door versus the center console.

Will be leaving on a trip to PA, and VA so should get some good driving time in.

Please be safe this weekend and thankful of all those who still serve to protect our freedom ...in every clime and place!!

Very nice car! Glad to see that people still love American muscle and will buy them! The whole car is very bright; the steering wheel is very different from past years, and I'm not quite sure what I think about it. I notice that you have steering wheel controls...what are those for? Radio volume?

AUS10BMX 06-30-2011 07:57 PM

Wow that looks really nice! I actually kinda like the steering wheel now, It should just have CAMARO written under the bowtie! Is the spoiler the same? I like the convertible style better...

Very orange is an understatement! Congrats, she's gorgeous!

The steering wheel controls are for cruise on left side and radio volume , source, mute, and radio channel/CD track changing, as wheel as for Bluetooth connectivity

SWEET!!! Love the stitching on the dash!!

D1ABOLIK 06-30-2011 08:08 PM

have they announce when they will actually be putting the 2012's in the dealerships?

Kahdir 06-30-2011 08:08 PM

Nice

The only thing I like over my 2010 is the power locks switch located on the door.

Have fun in PA :)

I also agree

ColdCamaroSS 06-30-2011 08:21 PM

Is the center door lock switch still in the same spot along with the door switch? Hard to see in the picture what the old switch location is utilized for.

jay4190 06-30-2011 08:34 PM

Love that new dash with the stitching. That would be the one thing I wish I could add to my 2011.

Purdue2011SS 06-30-2011 08:40 PM

looks great!

mhood 06-30-2011 08:40 PM

Is the passenger seat adjustable?

grunt 06-30-2011 08:48 PM

Yes the center door lock is still in position, so you have redundant controls.

mhood: Is the passenger seat adjustable?

Yes the passenger seat is power adjustable fore and aft, up and down and of course the Lazy Boy recline position! :)

Notice the painted Sharkfin also,,, something I know has been an issue for some on the forum. Looks much better.

Camaro_krazee 06-30-2011 08:53 PM

it's a 2012, so does it have the new 323 Horsepower V6?

Yervais 06-30-2011 08:56 PM

I honestly liked the pre-2011 steering wheel and gauges... I feel that they have much more personality and retro look to them... what do you guys think?
