Here is my camaro. Car cover TBA. $44770.00. with .1% tax = $49,247.00. A lot of pennies for me but I must have it haha.

bluch 03-16-2009 07:25 PM

cause the CDN dollar is $1.30 to the American dollar....over that amount of money it looks really high

Wow...why is Canada MSRP so high? :mad0260: That doesn't seem right. Aren't Canadians building it...awesomely?:thumbdown::barf:

80Zedder 03-16-2009 07:26 PM

Which is why I am keeping my truck for awhile.

Sorry...was editing...got it. Thanx. :respekt:

logan1080 03-16-2009 07:39 PM

Yeah we are building it. MSRP is a little high, but yeah the currency is off a little bit so I expected that. And yeah the destination is is $1400.00. Quite high in my opinion for a car build in our country.

radz28 03-16-2009 07:44 PM

IZSKIDO!!! You guys weren't kidding when you were talking abOOt (:D) how expensive it was going to be...

CaptianSam 03-16-2009 08:44 PM

so the top top fully fully loadess 2ss rs is around 45 - 50000 for every option...
how about these other top level cars and prices...
top level honda accord 42000
top level honda s2000 49000
top level civic 34000
ford mustang gt loaded 42000
challenger rt - srt 45- 55000*
audi a4 2.0t 45000 4 cyl!!!!
audi a5 55000+
bmw 335i 60000 +

what im getting at is in canada this car beats all of the above in styling power and all etc. (according to us) but beats most of them in price. and all of them in everything else... so when it comes to canadian pricing its actually not that bad when compared to everything else... a nissan 350z was 50000 brand new while in the states it was about 29000... at the time
30000 dollar cars are generally 45000 - 50000 dollars

DGthe3 03-17-2009 09:18 PM

Here, you can get a 300 hp Camaro for under $30 000 or a 400 hp Camaro for less than $40 000. When you look at the exchange rate, it works out to roughly the same as what you are paying. I haven't investigated much but I think that Canadians get paid 'more' than Americans do, but it works out to the same thing (roughly) after you adjust for the exchange rate.

i hate the chevy.ca site it's worthless. they don't have nice graphics like the u.s. guys have their site is 100% better why can't we have the same site just apply the cdn $ and bingo it's done .. No gm like to complicates things.. look where they are now..

Joe in T.O. 04-20-2009 09:46 PM

Patiently waiting for HUD, (Nav.- less important) but 2SS with cloth seat option

TheCaptain 04-20-2009 11:15 PM

I'm patiently waiting on convertible and HUD! In 2SS/RS trim, expecting around $47 000...
