To add to the recent doses of new Camaro ZL1 info and photos, here is a new video we've just posted, in what is hands down the best footage yet of the Camaro ZL1 in full out pedal to the metal testing runs at the Nurburgring track in Germany.

We're able to hear the ZL1's engine and exhaust like never before and its 580hp with Magnetic Ride Control certainly seems to handling the challenging Nurburgring with both power and agility.

Enjoy!

I couldn't tell... I had to turn down the speakers a bit, so it was difficult at times.

Cammie 2011 09-21-2011 10:11 AM

Yup, auto

KILLER74Z28 09-21-2011 10:12 AM

I'd encourage you to crank up the volume when you have a chance. There's a lot of motor music :D

armysig 09-21-2011 10:21 AM

Car looks good. I can't wait to see the official numbers from the track tests.

Me too..

But, I'm trying to look at it in the context of them seeing how far it can be pushed before breaking traction. At least knowing that, they can possibly tune it just that much more.

Dznts 09-21-2011 10:22 AM

awesome

I will at the house.. I sit around a bunch of computer geeks that prefer the sound of raging case fans and scrolling code to roaring engines...

I'm apparently the oddball geek that actually likes cars..

LAWMAN 09-21-2011 10:27 AM

VERY NICE!!!

YOUNGnRECKLESS 09-21-2011 10:32 AM

Phantom.5SS 09-21-2011 10:33 AM

The porsche looked real fast going into the turn and I seriously think at 0:28-0:30 I heard it slide off the track trying to keep up.:sm0:

Thanks TRAN...awsome update, now if you will excuse me I have to go sell everything I own and buy a ZL-1.:laughabove:

GQ4Life 09-21-2011 10:37 AM

Hope its ring time beats GT500, M3, and atleast come close to GTR. GM needs to use a race car driver for times like Lexus and Nissan do instead of a GM engineer

KKreme15 09-21-2011 10:40 AM

GT500 doesn't have a ring time
