Z28 is coming in 2012 according to GM's website...

From GM's official gear web site

The 2012 Gear was just announced today and look at what we have =)

"It’s coming! 2012 marks the return of the Z28! And for those of you who have been anxiously awaiting the roar and rumble of that V8 engine, this hoodie’s for you. Appliqued Z28 patches over screenprinted design. Raw seam edges, pouch pocket plus ribbed cuffs and hem. 55% cotton/45% polyester. Imported."

Not sure if this gives a speculation to the Z28. GM tends to sell products that are popular to the general public, but I hope that this is a first step in the Z28 arrival to dealers in late 2012

1LE--- I still have faith

Sounds like sales pitch to move sweaters but you never know.

2010 SSRS 11-11-2011 10:30 PM

jesserayjames 11-11-2011 10:39 PM

What motor will the Z28 have...............................

Italopaula 11-11-2011 10:45 PM

an XL motor =)

ShnOmac 11-11-2011 10:49 PM

Hmmmm this is odd....

SparkyDL75 11-11-2011 10:51 PM

I seriously doubt that a sweatshirt will be how GM lets people know the Z28 is coming back.....

In '69, you could order your COPO 9560 with a suspension option known as the "Sports Car Conversion"...COPO 9737.

In the COPO Camaro reveal at SEMA, the Part # on the COPO "crate" was 20129562...

2012 = Model Year
9560 = '69 w/ZL1 engine
9561 = '69 w/L72 engine
9562 = '12 NHRA-ready racer

Z/28 as a ZL1 trim level?

Where are my nitro pills?!

2cnd chance 11-12-2011 12:57 PM

^ how many 69' ZL1's had the Z28 uh sportscar conversion?

LOWDOWN 11-12-2011 02:35 PM

TWO...

Hell, who could afford the exrtra $130-odd bucks, after shellin' out the $7,300 for the Base car?!

Shows the TRUE intent of the original...1/4-mile at a time, with a gentle turn onto the return road...

DGthe3 11-12-2011 03:32 PM

CamaroCollection.com is not a General Motors website. They sell GM licensed clothing and accessories, but so does Camaro5Store.com

Being that the emblems/logos are trademarks, does GM have to approve of the designs?

Yes, but I'm pretty sure they don't have to approve of the product description

mr02Z/28 11-12-2011 05:28 PM

I'd like to see an OddBall 2012 Z28 with a Twin Turbo V-6 or a Turbo 4 banger with a 2-speed PG and 4.56 rear...

Are they still around? If so the value must be off the charts.

:facepalm: Major FAIL!! Obviously you haven't read many of the Z/28 threads or you would know that 99 and 9/10s % of Z/28 people do not want a V-6 (much less a 4 banger).
