Brushed aluminim gas door, 2 drink lit brushed aluminum trim, and a metra DDin kit

Ok folks, the wifes camaro is gone this coming saturday, pulled some parts off and they are up for sale.

1) Brushed aluminum Gas door with 2 keys and lock clip

2) Custom lit 2 drink holder trim ring in brushed aluminum

3) Metra kit to install the DDin GPS/aftermarket radio of your choice. Keeping the radio, just have the metra kit available.

4) SS rims in 98% perfect shape, I'll get shots asap. I wouldn't call the tires good at all, with the neg camber from the eiback drop (before getting a alignment to flatten out the tire contact patch)....the tires wore excessively on the inside....so the tires in my eyes are junk. You'll get them with it, and the tire pressure sensors are in there and fine. I believe these are the "midnight silver" finish. When I say they are 98% perfect, I don't recall any curb rash, but the clear coat looks a little fine scratches from poor washing technique (wife washing her own car). I think if you took a very fine polishing compound to them with a buffer, you could make them 100% perfect with some elbow grease.

Forgot some stuff!

5) Airraid V2, airbox is cut to allow clearance of the Strut bar brace (BMR in red)...since the airbox is cut, it goes for cheap.....I'd like $50, no lowballing on this one.

6) BMR Strut brace, not perfect, the holes have a little drill marks when using it to line up and drill the shock towers below it....still need to think about the price on that, and get pics.

7) Forgot I have a set of new white stripes (thin vynil too....looks better than thick cheap stuff) never installed (actually tried on the hood first, jacked it up on the bulge, ordered replacement stripe area I screwed up and never got around to finding a pro to install it)
This is a feeler, feel free to PM me with offers, I know what they go for new, will research what others are selling these parts used, and will post what I'm looking for them in 1-2 days after some consideration. Beat the others to the punch and PM me serious offers.

I'm in southern MD, save on shipping by coming by to pick them up. Not seriously interested in shipping rims/tires....pick up only.

I'm busy installing stuff on the van, I need to make time this weekend to take some decent shots of everything for sale. Yes, everything is still for sale, I'll make time to put prices on everything unless you want to make a offer via pm.

On a slightly different subject . . . how hard/easy was it to install that new stereo?
(Sorry to hear your wife is giving up the Camaro . . . )

bmwdon 03-31-2012 05:27 PM

wasn't hard at all, there's a axxiss box that you plug the cars harness into, and the output side of the box you can prewire out of the car (solder/heat shrink all the appropriate stereo connections) before you even start. I think the "hardest" part of the install was moving the center console far enough back to remove the radio & a/c faceplate and put the metra kit in. Other than that, it was cake.

bmwdon 04-04-2012 06:09 PM

ok, I swear this weekend I'm making the effort to take pics of everything. I'll clear off the workbench and fire up the metra so you can see it's working.....been too busy with other bs

how much for stereo kit and cupholders, please pm me

bmwdon 04-05-2012 07:30 AM

I'm asking $100 for the metra, $75 for the lit cup holders, this doesn't include shipping.

bmwdon 04-08-2012 12:56 PM

quick pics. you can see the items aren't new or show condition, they are used. The BMR brace holes are a bit jacked up from mounting hardware. The metra/axxiss box has some short cut wires for low level speaker outs for an aftermarket amp, I used the head unit amp to power the stock speakers, sounded fine. The stripes are the super thin vynil, white with blue pin stripe around it. The Airraid is for the V6 and is the V2 tube, I probably still have the V1 tube if you want it too, not 100% sure. Will post pics of the rims/tires under a new thread. Prefer local pickup.

BMR lists the strut brace at $229 new, local pickup on this for $100 seems fair to me.
http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...&productid=966

Airraid for $75

Metra for $100

SS brushed lockable gas door for $75

SS lit cup holder for $75

3M Vynil strips (white main, blue striped edge) http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-Camaro-...da8197&vxp=mtr
$75

FINALLYSATISFIED 04-19-2012 09:39 PM

Anything wrong with the Metra kit and is there anything extra I will need to get it to work with all the options? Thanks.

bmwdon 04-20-2012 06:10 AM

You can see in the one pic the 8 wires for speaker level out (I think) I had cut short, I used the speaker level out off the head unit so volume control was only available from the head unit. We didn't have radio controls on the steering wheel so it was a wiring bundle in the way so I snipped it off. wouldn't be hard to de-pin the cable head and solder/heat shrink on some standard speaker wires on there. other than that, it works fine.

edog 04-22-2012 08:11 AM

I will take the strut tower brace if it is still available. I can pick it up from you.

Nice. This weekend good? Fri or sat?

edog 04-23-2012 07:34 PM

Want to help install?:D:D

bmwdon 04-24-2012 06:38 AM

Can't install this weekend, got too much going on. Keep in mind, you'll need to drill at the top of the shock towers/struts. 4 holes in each. It'll require you to lift the front of the car up, drop your struts down and out of the way so you don't drill into the top of the struts accidentally. Then you'll need to drill (unless you've got a newer build with the factory strut brace predrilled locations I believe) the two at the front of each strut towers. all the hardware is there, and it's very straight forward. I can help you install, just not this weekend.

If you want to buy/pickup this weekend, that's fine, let me know.

edog 04-26-2012 07:38 AM

This weekend is tough. I am trying to get ready for the event on Sunday and detailing the ride will be the majority of it. I can do tomorrow morning, or if you work around where you live I can meet you. Let me know. I live in the Burg, so I am About 1 hour from youc

bmwdon 04-26-2012 08:22 AM

unfortunately, I work a good bit away from home. So I can't just swing home real quick and run this to the advance on the va side of the 301 bridge to meet up with you for breakfast or lunch. But if you wanted to meet up friday night over there or saturday morning, I could do that.
