I didnt know launch control was only available in modes 4 and 5. I was under the impression it was available in all modes? So modes 2 and 3 do not have LC?

I believe that Traction Control is used in all modes, but that Launch Control is only available in modes 4 and 5.

Per an inside "source".

The story is out on every major news network on tv, radio and the internet. I doubt that there are too many people who haven't heard the story by now.

"We understand what people are going to do with this car,and we really hope they will go out and do it"

That is a statement that warms my heart..........

First excuse when a ZL1 looses at the track..."I had it in the wrong mode"

If you get to around 1:45 or so, you can hear a slushbox leave the staging area. Those up-shifts sound almost as good as a nice, aggressive shift-kit!!! My hopes are really high for the auto-guys :)

The shift does sound much better than the current V6 & V8 shifts. But not as good as the older TH-400 with a B&M shift kit ...
