awfarley 04-16-2012 09:15 PM

This is the only bad thing about the LFX. The wait. But it kinda makes it fun.

Whats going to be involved in the testing? Is it a one day thing? I am just north of Tampa? Does the car require a tune to use this?

SC2150 04-17-2012 09:26 AM

No tune required, prefer a stock car w/out mods. We do 3 base pulls on the dyno to get an average before # and then swap in the CNC ported unit, do 3 more pulls for a average. Then we swap back to your stock one and your good to go.

What do you get? Free dyno session, then when we have the finished product if you come back so we can use your same car agin for accuracy, you get the TB free.

Unfortunately i just put the air scoop and cai on the car. Guess that leaves me out. Missed by two weeks.

meissen 04-17-2012 12:08 PM

Do you have to do it in FL? Can we arrange to have it done at a local shop in our area? I have a CAI installed but I still have the stock intake I can throw back on. I know tons of shops in the area with dynos that we could borrow to dyno tune it.

I hope someone with a 2012 in FL step up soon or hope y'all come up with a way to get the testing done

SC2150 04-18-2012 05:29 PM

We need to be present to document it all and have Pete Incaudo from VMax with us as well.

SC2150 04-19-2012 04:37 PM

About 8 hours I think?

2012_1LT/RS 04-19-2012 05:25 PM

IneedAZ is the closest yet I hope he makes the trip cause it is 14 hours from me

IneedAZ 04-19-2012 05:29 PM

i am willing, but they have to decide about swapping the CAI back to the stock one. Guess its a 15 minute task.
