IOM SS owners....

Ok guys, for those who ordered an IOM SS, excluding Squalo and Canadian Camaro, How do you like the IOM V6 bumper?
If you want the stunning looks of the original concept bumper, well the V6 bumper is the way to go:thumbsup:. We know it fits and is easy to swap
So if anyone is looking for an IOM "Concept Style" ;) (V6) bumper, and want to trade that ugly boring SS IOM bumper of yours. Post here
Im just that nice to swap for an ugly SS bumper :D

P.S I will keep bumping this thread until i get an answer lol

Hey, that's my dealership! They were supposed to call me when they get their car in...:mad0260:

BLACK67 05-27-2009 11:39 AM

Hey SQUALO, is that your car?

TJ91 05-27-2009 02:15 PM

No, its not his car, my dealer did the same thing, didnt call me when the Camaro was there, thanks to Frank i still saw it there!

Joe in T.O. 05-27-2009 04:35 PM

It seems Leggat in Rexdale is slated to close unfortunately. They have the best service there.

I talked to the sales mgr., whom I've know for the past 5yrs, and he told me that they're NOT closing. Their name didn't show up on the list that was posted on this forum...a majority of dealerships were the ones with the Pontiac brand.

Joe in T.O. 05-28-2009 02:33 PM

It was on another forum, GMInside News. Apparently Leggat's Burlington store will stay open but rexdale will close. (At least that is what it said in the list.) The car that's there is number 5554

Is this confirmed by any other source? I have an order placed with them, they specifically told me they weren't closing.

However, they also told me that they have a price guarantee, and it looks like that isn't panning out either (told me AFTER the fact that it doesn't apply to the camaro... guh), so who knows what's going on. argh.

Joe in T.O. 06-03-2009 03:27 PM

You will get your car regardless, even if it has to go to another surviving dealership so there is no worry about that. Also keep in mind that GM Canada did not go bankrupt.

I heard LEGGATT was ok but WOODBINE PONTIAC is closing down!!!I will warn you there is a mechanic there who should NOT work on these cars. This one guy caused my Z06 motor to blow due to lack of qualified expierence to work on LS series motors. I'm really serious this guy if he is even still there should not work on these cars after what he did to my Z06!!!!Don't mean to bash anyone but It's something regretfully I had to expierence when this mechanic worked where i worked for 10 years before. Other than this specific individual I hear they have a good service department!!!!ROY FOSS CHEVROLET is also great to service with!!!

SS Bumper? :D

Joe in T.O. 06-07-2009 03:30 PM

I know it's OT but not sure the list posted is very acurate. My brother in orangeville tells me Royal is not going anywhere although they were on the list in question. Kinda makes sense i think they are the only chevy dealer in that area anyway.

TJ91 06-07-2009 05:48 PM

No news on the car yet, had a build date of June 1st for the longest time, and yet it hasnt got built yet :(

Joe in T.O. 06-07-2009 08:19 PM

Did you need to borrow my router or jigsaw?

TJ91 06-08-2009 04:43 PM

i may need to lol
I didnt think that it would be this hard

Joe in T.O. 06-08-2009 09:51 PM

Actually, with all the rear end collisions on this site, there should be a lot of front clips available.

TJ91 06-08-2009 11:41 PM

i wonder how much it would cost, any ideas?
