Camaro5 Fest III Autocross Driver's Schedule
Here we go!!!!! Big thanks go to Pedders for sponsoring the Autocross!!
Friday and Saturday sessions*
AM 9:15am - 12:00pm
PM 1:15pm - 6:00pm*
AM 9:15AM - 12:00PM
PM FINALS 4:30pm - 5:45pm
*Due to the amount of cars, we may run the afternoon session a bit longer if needed. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU GET TO RUN YOUR CARS AND LEAVE WITH PERMAGRIN!
Remember, there are two goals. 1) Be safe, 2) HAVE FUN
We have NO SCCA support for the event. To make the event run smoothly we need Camaro5 member help.
Drivers MUST work the corners. If you do not support the event as a corner worker, you will NOT drive in the event.
Pedders and a few of our Dealers will staff the Autocross, but we cannot do it alone.

We can accomodate Drivers during this session as it fills up. The bulk of this session will be the Finalists running for the trophies!
THIS IS IMPORTANT!! I've got the "checking mods" section because it was never listed which class you would be running in. We are trying to keep similar classed cars running during the session so there's no running each other over.
So, if you have a supermodified car and your name is under "checking mods", please let me know in this thread!!! I'll get you into the right session.
Now, just as equally important!
If this time does not work for you do to conflicts, like Drag Strip, LPE seminar, etc..... I need to know now. I can move you, I just need you to post in this thread or send a PM which session works best for you!
As you can see, Saturday PM session has no one in it right now. We're expecting more cars that have signed up. Also that PM session on Saturday gives us the opportunity to run the finalists in each class for the awards!!
Event Staff and volunteers! If there is a conflict that I don't see, or if you're unable to commit as slotted, I need to know! Volunteers are going to make this a huge success. My hats off to you already! Many thanks!

Is there a possibility to run a second time Saturday PM if those spots are not used?
Saturday PM will be used that's for sure. Depends on how many more folks we get signed up. That, and folks that never sign up but show up at the track the day of. We want everyone to get a chance to run! Right now I'm hoping folks will let me know if there is some type of conflict either with the volunteer time slot and their run, or if they have other plans and want to run a different session.
The ultimate goal, other than everyone getting all they want out of this, is making sure we don't have a super modified car chasing down a stock car while on the track (or vice versa ;))

I am assuming that since you dropped me from volunteer on Friday AM (and that I'm running in that slot) that you don't need me for both sessions Friday and have enough people.

With 60 (for right now) per session scheduled to run, and drivers helping out as well during their session.... we should have plenty of people.
