Halo Super Cars Strut Tower Brace

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7126/7...c38feb11_b.jpg
We are pleased to introduce our new Halo Super Cars strut tower brace. This dual 11ga. heavy wall tube brace is fully TIG welded to CNC cut brackets and includes CNC machined tower caps. They come powdercoated gloss black or are available in raw steel if you want to have them painted to match.

3 bolts on top and 1 in each tower side is all it takes to mount this brace in, while still giving you the ability to remove the brace without having to remove your struts.

Unlike most braces, this will fit ALL model years 2010+ and both V6 & V8!

Straight across design looks rigid... bump

Try666me 08-14-2012 06:04 PM

damn looks awesome, may have to get one

JohnZ 08-16-2012 05:34 AM

How much clearance is there between the brace and the v6 engine? I ask because I have a 1inch manifold insulator as well as a 10mm plenum spacer.

I don't have an exact measurement on the V6 off hand, but will try and get one, but I'm pretty sure there's around 1.5 inches.

JohnZ 08-16-2012 10:00 PM

I would appreciate that, those 2 pieces take up 1.38 inches. Also, I would not have engine cover on. Could you measure without the engine cover. Thanks.

Halo Super Cars 08-17-2012 07:26 PM

Ah, you're definitely safe then, it's about 1.5" to the cover, and it's mainly on the outer edges where it gets closest to the bar. I'll still see if we can't get a V6 to measure.

BiG_TiMe 08-21-2012 04:20 PM

I have a 2011. the factory holes should match up perfectly with this right?
btw i love this design..i've been looking around for a strut tower brace but i've never found one that i liked until now

Halo Super Cars 08-21-2012 05:15 PM

No it does not match the factory holes. It just requires 3 holes to be drilled on top and 1 in the side of each tower, not hard to install at all.

JohnZ 08-23-2012 10:00 PM

Could you take a picture of the installed brace head on from the front of the engine bay. I just want to visually see the clearance since it will be a tight fit. Thanks.

pm info please, looks great!

Also, just finished our Trans Tunnel Brace that will also allow you to run a 3" exhaust with plenty of room and still plenty of ground clearance.

Tested on our car with air ride suspension to ensure even the lowest of cars won't have an issue.

v6 picture bump

blackswan 09-12-2012 05:35 PM

What's the "net" on installing these? Better handling I assume?

Sorry, still waiting on our V6 guy to stop by. As soon as he does, we'll have it up here.

Yes, it stiffens the body, and reduces flex & roll when cornering.

JohnZ 09-14-2012 02:46 AM

I really like the style of your products. Do you have any plans on making a more comprehensive rear chasis brace (like hotchkis or lsr)?

Halo Super Cars 09-17-2012 02:26 PM

Thanks. We are working on a full subframe connector setup that should be pretty sweet when it's all done.

It will not fit over a Whipple. There's not enough space to fit the bars between the supercharger and the hood.

Have not had a chance to try one on a Magnuson fitted car yet.

Coop 09-21-2012 08:18 PM

Well I would offer up my car that has a maggie but I am in OK. Do you need measurements or send a test bar to me?

Halo Super Cars 09-27-2012 11:12 AM

Yeah, email me at mark@halosupercars.com and we'll get some basic dimensions and if it looks like it might work, we'll send you a bar to try. Thanks!
