Looking good .. is that exhaust emissions legal (high flow cats?) or non catted?

GigaHz 05-27-2009 11:11 AM

Pretty sure it has the stock cats. I don't think Lingenfelter will remove the stock cats.

See, I actually was expecting it to be more, so im rather happy. I just wonder if they finance. lol.

Great results, but too much money. Thats what happens when you pay for a brand name, and a warranty. I would wait until the price drops down to around 6,000.

I think so too... it seems like it would be 15k+

The Dark Knight 05-27-2009 11:28 AM

$10k is not bad if you wanna smoke some supercharged ponies!

Tal 05-27-2009 11:28 AM

Nice, thought that price included the Corsa at first which would've been a real deal but it's still not bad!

Stock cats

jplayer 05-27-2009 11:48 AM

I really like how it flattened out the torque curve even more and also diminished the power dropoff toward the higher end which is not to common for screw type chargers is it???.

snizzle 05-27-2009 11:54 AM

Wow, very cool.... always been a big fan of Lingenfelter stuff. I don't think the price is out of line honestly considering the warranty, the custom tune, and the relative rarity of the car afterwards. Keep up the good work guys.

Add some LTs with hi flow cats and your choice of exhaust and maybe a mild cam with this and then its time for suspension work!!

Looks very nice indeed
:headbang:

FriedCherry 05-27-2009 12:05 PM

Videos and Sounds of the exhaust please?

GTAHVIT 05-27-2009 12:08 PM

I'm thinking that is a great price for everything you get. Just the blower from some of the other vendors is 7K+. So when you factor in warranty and installation, and the additional accessories, That is a great deal.

Kevin,

Well done guys! Put me on the list. How long will this price be good for? Is this an introductory, price. If it is a promo price, how much would I have to put down to lock it in?

Oh yeah, how much boost?

Feel free to PM me if you'd like to discuss it offline.

Thanks,

Chris

In the more efficient ones this is common. An example would be the stock eaton on the 03/04 cobras .. had power dropoff towards the top. The KB or Whipple twin screws did not have this and did really well on the top end ..

Looks like the new TVS are doing pretty good .
