1le question

Is the 1le trim going to be available in a vert? Also, when is Chevrolet going to update their site

tonyko1 09-08-2012 08:47 PM

Site has been updated and I don't think that the 1LE is to be offered as a vert at least for 2013. It is supposed to be a track ready car, why would you want a vert there?

2013camaro 09-08-2012 08:50 PM

Does it have the same tires as the zl1 that are good for about 10k miles or just the same wheels

2013camaro 09-08-2012 08:51 PM

The site doesn't give you the option to add the 1le trim

Sure it does, only on the SS 6m, it's a performance package, less show, more go!

2013camaro 09-09-2012 06:45 AM

What tires are on the 1le? Same tires as the zl1?

Yes

2013camaro 09-09-2012 08:43 AM

Damn... 500 a piece and good for 10k miles

PYROLYSIS 09-09-2012 10:02 AM

Some of the ZL1 drivers are getting 15k miles out of the tires.

ackeight 09-09-2012 10:57 AM

It's a track car. Not meant to have 100k tires.

SS2-1LE 09-09-2012 12:22 PM

I agree ^^^ the tires are ment to grip!!

2013camaro 09-09-2012 02:47 PM

Can those wheels have regular tires put on them

ackeight 09-09-2012 06:02 PM

That's like buying an SS and putting the v6 in after the fact.

2013camaro 09-09-2012 06:08 PM

Who wants to pay 2,000 for tires every 10 to 15k miles.

Everyone leaving those who don't want to, in the dust :P

2013camaro 09-09-2012 06:21 PM

I am not sure what that even means. I understand if English is a second language, I am trying to understand your post

Monte Mac 09-09-2012 06:24 PM

Yes you could put different tires, and wheels or whatever you like. I mean if it were to be a "daily driver" I would probably get a set of regular SS wheels and tires and keep the better ones for track days.

2013camaro 09-09-2012 06:26 PM

I wanted a daily driver but tires with better mileage and saving original tires

ackeight 09-09-2012 07:32 PM

If you buy a 1le I'll trade you my SS wheels and tires for yours. I'll even give you $500

2013camaro; if you will read this post, it should answer a lot of your questions: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212140

As far as I know, the 1LE package is very specific.

This thread has suggestions for your tire questions: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=244721

If you have questions about only being able to order the black interior, this thread may be of interest to you: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=248046

I hope these links help you make an informed decision. I also suggest you search the internet for reviews on the car.

1LE won't be offered on a Vert. It's a track package and the vert doesn't offer the structural rigidity for a track package.

You also don't have to buy the same brand of tires when the oem ones wear out. At least it's the same size on all 4 corners.

It is very well known that high performance tires that provide maximum grip doesn't last long, you gotta pay to play bro. Let the games begin.

1LE option probably won't be in the cards for you.
