So right now my Camaro is in the shop getting a laundry list of modifications put on it. My shop has been kind enough to provide me with picture of the car and parts as they are being put on the car; I thought fellow Camaro lovers would appreciate it if I shared them with you!!!

I apologize some of the pictures are kind of big, if you zoom out a little it helps see them more clearly.
Car will be on the DYNO sometime this week, I will be sure to share the results with you.

Well, I told my shop to help me get the parts for a car that can handle at least 800rwhp, but now it seems it will be able to take quite a bit more. So my guess would be upwards of 850 rwhp.

Yeah, after I saw that picture I was kicking myself because I forgot to ask them to do it lol. Once I get it back Iíll be taking a fine toothed comb to it. (not literally a comb, but you understand)

SUBSRIBED

This is going to be a MF'er on the strip for sure, nice build!

PfadtRacing 09-11-2012 11:57 AM

Looks Great! Thanks for including Pfadt in your build! You're really going to love the difference that the Solid Subframe Mounts make in the attitude of your car while launching!

Great build subscribed

"Where does he get all those remarkable toys?" I may have butchered the quote, but who cares that car is going to be awesome.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!! I just scheduled an appointment with my shop to stop by tomorrow and take a look where itís at, last I heard they were making space to fit the 4L80E. Once that gets in they have to do a bit of wiring, but once thatís doneÖÖ. ITS DYNO TIME. Iíll take some more pictures of parts and of the car on the lift and I should have them up on C5 sometime tomorrow.

BTW, does anyone have any friends or know of anyone that has done a similar build? I was just curious how much different the car will drive once I get it back. I was running an STS twin turbo kit (550rwhp) before. Obviously itís going to be much more powerful now, but howís the drivability?

Here are a few pics of the exterior....

Update: New Pictures and progress

So I stopped by my shop the other day to check on the progress of my Camaro. Now that the tranny is in they are going to start work on the wiring and mounting the procharger as well as the exhaust. They estimate that it will be on the dyno middle of next week!

Threw in another picture of the procharger and the new wheel tire combo im going to be running. 315 nitto invos.

The last two pictures are of my old L99 that got destroyed..... Tried to pump too much power into a weak block.

pierre777 09-14-2012 07:26 AM

Dayuuuuuum that looks nasty.

RED DEMON SS 09-14-2012 09:30 AM

Just made another stop by the shop to see how the project was going. And itís going awesome!!!
They got the new badges put on the hood, installed the hood pins, and are currently in the ďdrivabilityĒ phase.
It will be on the dyno next week for POWER and RWHP tune!!! Iíll keep you posted..

Dyno Results
Added video of the dyno results. This is a video of the initial dyno which made 782 rwhp, I do not have a video of the final dyno where the car made just over 800rwhp. You def get the full effect with this video though.

The green lines on the dyno sheet represent the car when I had it with the stock L99 engine and a set or twin STS turbos. The red lines represent the car as it sits now after all the mods.
