Dealer Says Private Offers Are Not Combinable

I had a $1000 Chevrolet private offer, a $750 USAA Member private offer, and a $500 Farm Bureau Member private offer.

The dealer said they were not combinable and I had to chose one. Of course, I went with the $1000.

I could have sworn that Chevrolet Customer Service or someone posted somewhere on here that they were combinable.

So, if you have multiple private offers, don't be surprised if the dealer will honor only one. I thought I was going to get $2250 off, but it didn't happen.

The private offer and USAA member offer should be combinable. I'd keep searching and take my business to another dealer.

I can't go to another dealer. I placed an order through them.

Your dealer is correct. I had the $1000 private offer and I'm a USAA member. The USAA and Credit Union discounts are considered private offers. You can't combine two private offers. You can combine normal rebates with either private offer and GM card earnings as well, but no two private offers together.

Thank you!

Unfortunately they are not. I got snagged and almost lost out when I "bought" a private offer with credit card points. I was using 1000 GM dollars and 500 from my bank. The salesman said it was good (he never checked). But the Finance manager said it was a no go. Should have walked away but they actually gave me 300 of the 500.
