The_Raging_Bull 11-24-2012 06:27 PM

what other mods to get to ~716RWHP..
ported ZR1 blower
ported LSA heads?
LS9 Cam?
long tube headers?
larger injectors
102 throttle body ?

Late Model Racecraft 11-26-2012 07:47 AM

Heads and shortblock are stock, Custom Grind LMR Cam, longtubes, and 102 MMTb all through a Auto, probably would have made 760-780 through a manual

Topher3134 11-26-2012 12:38 PM

I have to ask why? Aren't better supercharging options out there? Maybe I am missing something. Its neat that your doing it but I am not sure that it needed to be done.

Late Model Racecraft 11-26-2012 01:50 PM

The 1.9 gets to a point where it is very inefficient, upgrading to the 2.3 ZR1 blower leaves all your factory lines and connections in tact and provides you with a better way to create boost on your car and not have to spin the blower so hard. The 2.3 creates so much more air then the 1.9 that it can produce more power with less boost

What would a 3.6 or 4.Liter Whipple do for you, push 850 to 900 RWHP? At that volume I'm assuming you're going to have to port your heads as this is a COPO setup.

Late Model Racecraft 11-27-2012 07:51 AM

That would do it ,but for someone who wants a factory style replacement the ZR1 blower is the ticket
