What do you guys think on this video? I would love to get me hands on something like this :D.

Not sure if this has been posted. :drinking:

Supposedly the car was gonna be made into an all out race car, which is why it has so few options.

The car sold a while ago, there was a thread on TGO about it.

CHMSC 12-20-2012 08:18 PM

Wish I could find something like that.

Years ago I think.

Joe's 2010 SS/RS with 200 miles will have this same faith.

Denis 12-20-2012 08:38 PM

Damn

:word::sm0: I wouldn't be surprised if he requests they burry him with all of his cars......none having more than 2k on them.

ChrisBlair 12-20-2012 09:06 PM

A very desirable thing from a collector's standpoint...this will be sacrilegious here I'm sure, but even in the '80s...not a stellar performer.

True but the body on them is awesome. And then there is always mods that can take care of the performance issues.

MBS 12-20-2012 09:10 PM

what a find, 16K for her how much did it sell for?

Sure but as soon as you do it's no longer a pristine '85 any more, it's just another modified '80s Chevy

The real value of that car would be for people restoring their own similar vehicle

Very true, but if I bought one I wouldn't care about selling it.

shrinkdoc 12-20-2012 09:20 PM

I would have rather had that 70 roadrunner.

CWI 12-20-2012 09:38 PM

Kinda like opening a time capsule. A perfect template for restorers.

two_wheel_mayhem 12-20-2012 09:49 PM

Too bad he didn't store it better.

I don't think it sat in that trailer for years and years, the Roadrunner doesn't look quite as dirty.

Also wonder what's in those other two trailers marked 'NO'

LOL

partymn 12-20-2012 11:03 PM

Damn

Hellfighter 12-21-2012 09:52 AM

Maybe a 69 chevelle or camaro in the other trailers lol. But even if that car was not performance its in emaculant condition. Some wash wax polish new wheels new fluids and battery and filter and it would run... typical weekend work and this baby would win prizes and turn heads . <3

Dznts 12-21-2012 10:20 AM

Huh? That car is loaded with options. About the only thing it doesn't have is the TPI motor. That , imo, makes this car less desireable. If it was a TPI 305 with a 5 speed, it would be killer.

I wouldn't want to put an LS3 in front of that stock trans and rear end.

INTIMIDAT3R 12-21-2012 12:32 PM

I couldnt even imagine the smell from the critters that lived under the hood. It looks like none made it in the passenger compartment.
