Does anybody have these? Will they work for more than a week? Do they look good? Any pictures?

Been wondering the same thing. BUMP! Subscribed.

When you say work for more than a week, what are you referring to? I read the description and you use the stock bulbs! So I would take it they will last awhile unless they start to leak or fall apart!

MackMan 01-20-2013 08:46 AM

Hmmm maybe it's full of reflective stuff to make your 1 bulb look like more?

IDK! But here is the description!

they look different, might look okay on the right car color. my guess is that there are single LEDs that stay on at night and the stock bulb lights up the rest of the assembly when you brake.

Those look very close to these. How do you like them? They're pretty cheap and look nice from what I've seen so far.

I don't know about the original bulb deal. Maybe it's the original harness they are referring to. I once bought fog lights for my previous BMW and they lasted 1 day. They melted. Ebay stuff is very unpredictable.

Hey jlugo....why's your rear bowtie emblem backwards??

Ken_ 01-20-2013 01:16 PM

My experience with these ebay lights is they start to leak after a while. Nothing worse than water intrusion and corrosion going on after a bit of time. I guess if you got them, make sure to seal them in any place that water can get in.

LED tailights are something I want to do, but I want to do it myself. They look great tho.

BlueSteele 01-20-2013 05:38 PM

I would be concerned with them being street legal because they do not have reflectors in them, but I don't know how strict the laws are in Puerto Rico are about that.

CUPRA 05-20-2013 10:44 PM

I just bought a set of these in black this past weekend. Waiting for them to arrive. I have been a little concerned by the 'reflective' issue on them (i.e. the lack of reflective strip). What I am probably going to do is buy some red reflective tape and put a small strip along the top or bottom of each tail light to make them legal.

sub zero 05-21-2013 02:53 AM

i think u'll cover some LED's if u gonna put tapes

lscamaro 05-21-2013 07:16 PM

bump. Anybody got anymore info? I love these tail lights. Best looking ones for a fifth gen in my opinion
