That's because it's a baby ZL1. Once you water and feed it, it will someday grow up and change into a ZL1. They just put the steering wheel in it to get the process started.

It starts out as a Sonic, grows a bit and turns into a SS, grows a bit more, goes through it's LE stage before it matures into a ZL1.

DarkneZZ 01-30-2013 04:16 PM

It is a Chevy Wheel, not a ZL1
mine has the same :D

Except that yours isn't a flat bottom wheel. ;)

Cruuzin LV 01-30-2013 07:09 PM

I bet there are some RS owners that would like to have that wheel...

rmyers 01-30-2013 09:54 PM

It's a pretty cool little car. Was fun driving it.

the Cruze has it too. proabably more.

I know my Z06 had the same steering wheel as cobalt at the time.

I test drove one two weeks ago. I'll probably be in need of a new DD in the next year and I'll pick one up. It was a fun little car! I also liked the race inspired bucket seats and the red stitching on everything.

Sonic 0-60 in 8 seconds 1.4liter turbo 140hp. 20k

Mini Cooper s 0-60 in 6 seconds 1.6liter turbo 181hp. 23 -27k

Fiat Abarth 0-60 in 7.2 seconds 1.4liter turbo 160hp 22 to 27k

For the price the sonic is great and I'm sure with a few small mods you could gain some HP if you really wanted to and still spend a lot less than a similar car.
