My SS Build - Black Flag Edition

2 Attachment(s)
So I have a long list of things I want to do to my Camaro. Traded in my 11' Jeep Wrangler for my 13' SS Camaro, its a biter sweet transition. My build is going to be in three phases and you will eventually see what i mean by Black Flag edition.

First phase is going to be exterior MOD's, like side skirts, rear diffusers and spoilers. All things that you can add or delete to the exterior of the vehicle.

Second phase is going to be about lighting. Switch out bulbs to LED's, install RS headlight, afterburners tails lights and other such modifications.

Third phase is performance MOD's. I dont put too many miles on my vehicle to beginning with so performance MOD's will be the last thing to do, going to give the engine time to break in.

So here she is the day i bought her at Norman Frede Chevrolet, 12/07/2012.

2010SLVRBULIT 02-08-2013 08:27 PM

how come the 2013 rims look like the 2010s? Congrats. I would've kept the jeep...

Sapper12b 02-08-2013 08:30 PM

Because I didn't like the new wheel style so had them switched out at the dealership.

Deke736 02-08-2013 10:04 PM

That Jeep looks badass!

The 2010-12 wheels are still available as an option.

Nothing really new installed. I entered my Camaro in a car show here in Houston called "Aeros & Autos", unfortunately I didn't win and got beat by a fellow club member. Just wanted to post a recent picture of the ride from the show.

Nice! Did you order your sideskirts already painted? From where?

Sapper12b 05-13-2013 08:55 PM

Ordered my ZL1 rockers from Parts Taxi, a forum sponsor and had them painted locally. If you want to order some side skirts already painted here are a coup,e of options .....

Im still debating on keeping them or not. They are growing on me very slowly, just not fast enough, still saying "ehhhh"

Love the build, and everything looks great! I love your jeep too, I am hoping to get a Rubicon for my next car so that I can replace my Camaro as my daily driver

Thanks! I miss my Jeep sooooooo much. I can't wait for the Wrangler to get the Diesel engine .

Love the 1LE front splitter and ZL1 rockers. Time to lower it:thumb:

Actually , it's the T4 splitter from ACS not the 1LE splitter. I've thought about lowering it and still debating the idea, the front end already scraps quite a bit as is.

So Late Model Racecraft (LMR) were generous and provided me with a free Dyno pull. Got a good baseline and have a better idea of where and how I want my build to evolve.

And the results ....
