BASEBALL 2013

Baseball season has just started, let's get some Baseball talk going, Red Sox/Yankees tonight 7:05pm, go Sox :clap2:
Buccholz vs. Kuroda

I have been waiting for the season to start. I think the Yankees are done I could see them finishing last in the east. I myself am a Cleveland Indians fan I have a quarter season package and I will be there on Monday the 8th for the home opener against the Yankees. Good luck to your Sox they definitely improved over the off season.

Red Sox beat the Yankees again, hopefully they can get the 3 game sweep Thursday night

Huero30 04-04-2013 01:28 AM

I know this is going to sound weird. But im a huge a HUGE Yankees fan, and have been my whole life, but i am also a baseball fan and like to be realistic. (weird if i'm so close to the Angels/Dodgers, i know) but yes, unfortunately the Yankees are not going to have the best season . It wouldnt surprise me if they finished last in the East, not only do they not look great, but that AL EAST is looking pretty tough. I think Toronto, Baltimore, Red Sox, and Rays all have a chance to win that division.

zandron263 04-04-2013 07:14 AM

There is nothing wrong with being a Yankees fan and living somewhere else. Also as a fan you can see when your favorite team is not going to do well. Does not make you less of a fan you can just see their weaknesses this year compared to their competition.

I can see that the Indians got a lot better in the offseason but they still don't have the talent to take the Central from the Tigers. The starting pitching will have a lot to do with where they will finish. If they get good pitching a wildcard is a possibility but more realistically they will probably finish around .500 and not be a playoff team.

Went to the season opener for the Astros! Good to see them win their first game in the AL, too bad they haven't scored a run since....

Die hard Yankees fan living in Texas! Boys in pinstripes are gonna suck a** this year, due to giving all the cash up for Jeter and A-Rod. Need to get the Triple AAA rocking so we have some incoming talent

Two Run HR for Napoli, 13-0 now, this is great

I saw the game update while watching the Indians game. Sounds like they knocked Dickey around. Tribe is up 10-0 over Tampa now against David Price no less. Wait make that 11-0 Bourn just hit a solo shot.

CamaroMike13 04-07-2013 05:39 PM

Cards fan here. Looking for some NLCS payback today against SF. Cards up 9-2 - looking forward to the home opener tomorrow.

Huero30 04-07-2013 05:46 PM

CC Sabathia finallypitched like we all expect him to pitch, and we got a hold of Verlander. Good day today!

zandron263 04-07-2013 05:57 PM

CC is one of my favorite players I wish he was still in Cleveland. I am glad we won't have to face him in the upcoming series. I am excited to be going to Cleveland tomorrow for opening day.

2010 SSRS 04-10-2013 06:19 PM

Red Sox and Orioles playing in the rain, hopefully it does not get a rain delay, Yankees/Indians game in Cleveland is in a rain delay.

zandron263 04-10-2013 06:38 PM

Well the Indians cant lose if their not playing LOL. Man our pitching is abysmal. I did not expect it to be great but I also did not think it would be this bad. I am going on Saturday and its supposed to be in the 40's and I don't want to watch another horrible outing from Jiminez.

Reds fan here - remembering back in the 70's when we'd drive down to Riverfront Stadium and watch the Big Red Machine. This year my hope is to make my first visit to the Great American Ball Park.

You should go there is nothing like seeing your favorite team in their home park. Its also a lot of fun to see them on the road. My goal is to see at least one game in every MLB park. This year it will be Turner Field in Atlanta in August. I have been to every park east of the Mississippi except for Atlanta and Miami and west of the Mississippi I have been to Kaufmann in KC and New Busch in St Louis.
