He said it should be fine for the little amount that it opens and closes. I wont be driving the car honestly for the next few days except to run out quick later so im not to worried about it peeling, i have a warranty on the tints that came with the installation as well

Looks good! It's amazing what a little tint will do for the look of a car.

I think I'm going to get my windows tinted tomorrow or a day relatively soon. Would it look weird if I did 35% on the driver and passenger sides, and then 20% on the back 3 windows?

When i was looking at the samples that were hanging up the 35 looked to light in my opinion. I was going to go with 35 at first but then changed my mind when i was at the shop. If you look at the first picture i posted you can see a glass pane hanging on the wall is a scale of tints dark to light. 2nd on from top is 20% what i got and next one down is 35. IMO 20% was the way to go

Yeah I have 30% on the sides of my truck, 20% on the rear (single cab).
In California 70% is the legal limit...
But I feel like if I had 20% on the sides of my Camaro, I would just be asking for trouble. My car already stands out for cops in my area, it would be a ticket waiting to happen. So I feel like if I had 35% it wouldn't piss cops off so much.
I am in no way denying the fact that 20% looks amazing on your ride, and if it wasn't for the legality reasons, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Here in NJ youre not allowed to have any tint on the front driver or passenger sides at all. Only allowed to have the rear passenger windows and trunk tinted. I see way to many people here in NJ though with tinted windows ALL around, even 5% which would be asking for a ticket lol. The cops around here though I think have given up on that though because they dont seem to care. I actually pulled up next to one today and thought "shit" lol. Luckily he just drove off and went on his way.

I hear you though, dont push your luck if you think it'll get you into some trouble. 35% i think will still look good though because you have a dark car.

Haha I'm the same way every time I pull up next to a cop when I'm in my truck. If I see them coming I normally roll the windows down.
But thanks man, I too think 35% will look good because AGM is a dark color.
