1SS guys, adding gauges

Has anyone found out a way to use the 2010-2012 gauge pack in the 2013? Or have they came out with a kit for the 2013? I searched on here and elsewhere, but I have not came up with a solid answer.

They're the same, plug and play

Check out RPI Designs in Ohio. Saw some cluster kits there yesterday online. They could answer you specifically.

i'm a little mad at RPI right now...i ordered some door plates from them over 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten them. they told me i should have had them mid-week, LAST week and still nothing. emailed josh there this monday and said he'd look into tracking it, and haven't heard anything back.
in other words, i don't recommend doing business with them.

I want to put the four pack of gauges on my 1SS, too. All the sites that I've checked so far show the gauges for 2011-2012 only and specifically say they're not for the 2013. Has anyone had better luck? I hope one of the resident vendors will come up with a plan to help us 1SS-ers!

Just checked RPI. They list a 2010-2013 gauge kit, but when you click on it, it specifies not for 2013. Good grief!:frusty:

Yep,

same thing I am coming up with. 4 bills is a lot to spend to see if it works.

Might check with RPI designs since they're somewhat local.

I'm on the hunt as well. But thinkin I might go with two Gauge pod and throw some auto meters in it.

They work on 2013's. Ofer (2SSRS) has seen the plugs and says they are the same.

It will NOT work currently, some models have the plugs in the harness but they do not work. We have already tried and we are a Chevy dealer. Its currently being worked on.

Will not work, i tried 2012 gauges, plastic trim doesnt fit with new radio. Also, read out on some gauges changed in 2012 I think. Didnt play with harness since part didnt even fit. Color of trim looked different too than our interior.

I'm definitely waiting for this issue to get fixed as well. Have a '13 1SS and would love to get the gauge cluster installed. Hopefully a fix comes out soon!

cornerspeed92 04-05-2013 02:45 PM

I have been working on this from day one!!!! and it is not available.I have Phastek working on this as well(hi Ricardo)i also was there when the service manager called their suppler and it was supposed to go into production Feb.1st,but that day has come and gone,so we will continue to wait......sigh!!!!!!!!!! this is something that i really want.I took the one out of my V6 to put in my 1LE only to find that it wont work.I do know that they are working on it.

it seems these things can't ordered at all. i even tried maureen and she has nothing. maybe get a dealer to get them on "warranty claim" using a 2ss vin?

cornerspeed92 04-05-2013 08:16 PM

I asked about what they would do if a 2ss had a failure and they said they would pull one off the line and send it,it would be better then GM paying for a rental car.

Classic general move.

Did you reprogram the BCM after installing it?

davidcroft 04-05-2013 08:47 PM

I wanted the 4 pack gauges on my 2012 1SS car. Out of all the interior mods(white panels, ZL1 pedals,1LE steering wheel,2013 shift knob and boot), I never got around to it. I doubt I'll do it to my 1LE.....but I will be getting matching BRM door panels:thumbsup: dontanybodywithaBRMreadthisandstealmyidea.

We tried but the 4 pack cluster is not compatible with the '13 BCM. The pn for the 10-12 is different than the '13, have not been able to get a '13 to try yet. Like I said, we're working on it.

Wait, so have you actually tried to install it on a 2013 or are you saying it won't work because they are different part numbers?

To all those who are working on it....thanks! Hopefully you can figure it out and get a kit put together for us 1SS owners.

The pn for the 10-12 models is different than the 13, the bcm is different as well. We have not been able to get a 13 gauge pack to try yet. The GM acc gauge pack which is available is the 10-12 model and it will NOT work in a '13.
When GM releases the '13 gage pack it will either be plug and play or plug and update the bcm software.
Currently there is no availability for the '13 models and when I checked with GM 3 months ago they did not have a release date scheduled.

Got it. So when you say that a 2010-2012 gauge pack won't work in a 2013 - you've actually tried it and it doesn't work. Correct?

cornerspeed92 04-06-2013 08:16 PM

Yes i took the one out of my 2011 1LT RS(the only difference is the shift pattern and i had a little sticker made to fix the issue)and installed it and nothing,no lights on the cluster, nothing worked except when i pushed the button TC light up.
