Group Buy Terms and Conditions and Estimated Timeline:

  • **EDIT 4/26**The group buy has been extended to May 20th in order to get the minimum 17 people on the list. The initial deposit needs to be received by Monday May 20th in order to ensure your spot on the group buy list.
  • Once we get at least 17 people on board with deposits then we can start to get the ball rolling and begin the tooling process.
  • The tooling process can take between 3-6 weeks depending on the complexity of the mold and the manufacturer's timeframe.
  • Production of the bumpers will begin immediately after we get at least 17 deposits in and the tooling process is complete.
  • Manufacturing can produce approximately 3-4 bumpers per day and will ship in approximately 5-7 business days after they are completed.
  • A deposit of $500 is required to get your name on the list and ensure your spot. Deposits can either be sent via Paypal to rideskinz@gmail.com or we can take Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments (PM or email for info). These deposits will help with the high upfront costs of producing the injection mold used for the polyurethane process. Basically the timeline when everything starts happening (tooling, production of bumpers) depends on how quickly buyers can send in deposits, so it is crucial to get things moving in a timely manner.
  • This group buy will be on a first come, first serve basis. So basically the first to sign up and send in their initial deposit get priority positioning. EDIT- This deposit will be REFUNDABLE if we don't get at least 17 people on the list. Once your bumpers are completed and ready to ship, the remaining balance will be due.

If we do not buy the mesh, what will be in its place?

db00338 04-07-2013 08:41 PM

I apologize for all of the questions, but will we have to use the upper grille from the old bumper?

I would assume so, but im probably going with a heritage anyway.

Venom SS 04-07-2013 09:11 PM

Other than material what's the difference from the other one?

Better fitment and ground clearance...

The front lower lip in the middle is pushed in and tilted up. If you look at my photos of the Aggressor 1 you can see the front lip is flat across the whole bottom. New one angles in kinda like the GM front spliter. This helps with groud clearance on driveways and hills.

If you view the videos above you will notice the differences.

ChevyCam13 04-07-2013 10:15 PM

If I order one would I be able to pick it up to avoid the shipping charge? Also are you offering it painted?

Thanks Dejari! To answer your questions, if you choose not to buy the ABS mesh from us you can purchase any other universal aluminum, steel or plastic mesh off eBay, amazon, etc. So it's pretty much up to you and your taste on what you want to use. You can use any upper grille that will fit onto a stock bumper (SS, RS, ZL1, aftermarket, etc.) If you check out the YouTube video of the black Aggressor 1 bumper, you can see our prototype upper grille

What rlatham04 and TRC SS said plus a lot of minor design changes that you can't quite see in photos. You would have to see it in person to pick out the differences

We do allow local pick up to save on shipping charges. We also work closely with a local bodyshop that can paint the bumpers so we can get a pretty good discount on labor/material costs
