What's in your Mancave?

I'm guessing if we are all into the Camaro, we are pretty much all petrol heads in one way or another, so what other rides do we own?

jules1200 04-19-2013 02:31 PM

Evidently just Camaro's then!

I'm into anything with an engine in it really. I have a perverted love for Citroen 2CVs, because of their brilliant engineering, and characterful looks. I love old British bikes as well, but only to look at, theres way too much spanner work for me to own one. I fixed that problem by buying a new "classic" styled Triumph Thruxton 900...Got the looks without the leaks:headbang: Here's the garage. (Harley Davidson is the wife's.)

Nice bike. Can't quite make out the one in the garage. So what's in your mancave apart from the DeL' and the Fizzy?

I find your lack of faith disturbing

stray bullitt 04-21-2013 03:18 PM

Jules, that is a fantastic collection. The Gixxer and Spondon Bandit are truly works of art. I used to hanker after an RS 2000 when I was a teen, but they were still too expensive to buy and insure, and I had to wait until the 2002 Focus RS came out before I popped my Ford RS cherry.
I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone in July now. Most of the folks I know round here are totally indifferent to cars, and I'm usually seen as someone even worse than a Sci-fi geek...a car bore.
I take it you're a 40 something, with that original Raleigh chopper, complete with ball smasher gear change.

jules1200 04-21-2013 03:47 PM

Yeh 48, so I'm big into my 70's & 80's stuff. I had an orange chopper just like this one, Xmas day 73, so I looked round for ages to find, this one. I bought to go in my 70's inspired room. You ready for this !!!!

Obvious as it sounds, when looking to do it, I googled '70's wallpaper' & the first one that comes up is called 'wallpaper from the 70's' & there is a room done with this paper. I thought thats it, that's the one straight away.:w00t:

stray bullitt 04-22-2013 12:00 PM

Ah yes, good old Google.

RickGM 04-23-2013 02:01 AM
