2013 1LE production numbers?

So now that the final 2013 1LE's are rolling off the line im interested to see the total amount produced. i figured we all could play a guessing game while we wait to hear the final numbers and winner gets bragging rights haha ......o and ill paypal you 20 bucks if you get it within 1 up or 1 down

im going to say 3450 SS's produced with the optional performance package (1LE)

tramtwo 04-22-2013 01:27 AM

I would say the number is way less than that maybe like 1200 tops...

JeffInDFW 04-22-2013 01:55 AM

I live in Dallas and still have not seen one! Would it be a freaking crime for a dealer to actually order one for dealer stock?!

Hmmmmm...............Put me down officially for 3,200.

t&t moyer 04-22-2013 02:11 AM

I guess 5173

you really think its that low? i could see it you never see more than 15 !le's in any particular production week

Venom SS 04-22-2013 02:42 AM

nationwide ill say 7500...not every 1le owner joins camaro5

Crand 04-22-2013 03:11 AM

I'm going to guess the 1LE never topped 1000.

gajagfan 04-22-2013 03:44 AM

Our dealer here in SE Georgia has brought in 5 including ours which will be here soon. I think there are more than we might have thought! I am guessing closer to 10k.

Wouldn't that be close to 1 in 10 Camaros built being a 1LE?

shawn18 04-22-2013 06:11 AM

2853

1LEMayhem 04-22-2013 06:23 AM

I say 3500 built for the $3500 package.

I am not sure how many Camaros are being built annually, but if it is only 100k as you are suggesting, I admit that 1 in 10 does seem high for the 1LE.

charlie46 04-22-2013 04:34 PM

i would bet 1500 or less !

toehead93 04-22-2013 04:49 PM

They built it for 2% of Camaro owners so 2,000+/- is about where it will be. I have not seen any in my area so I'm guessing it it less than 2,000.

I looked long and hard to get mine. In Chicago area it could have been the tire issue that stopped delivery in the colder areas but I looked 1000 miles around and there weren't many my guess is 1,038 1LE's in 2013 just to make certification for SCCA racing.

Bad@ssCamaro 04-22-2013 04:58 PM

When I checked on the Constraints thread that BeckyD started. As of February, there had only been 427 available slots open as of 2/21/13. I'm going to go with 1050.

Southern Comfort 04-22-2013 05:00 PM

I see a lot more new ZL1s for sale than 1LEs. I'll guess 2013 produced in 2013.

So is that # the minimum required to be produced in order to qualify for SCCA racing?

The Chevy place in Frisco has another black SS 1LE. This is their 2nd dealer stock 1LE. I really didn't want black but didn't want to wait either.

Midnight Rat 04-22-2013 06:51 PM

2250 is my guess.
Remember they did not produce these for the full model year.

fgg60 04-22-2013 07:08 PM

I'll guess 2120...
