WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! The front scoop is open!!! That is the clearst photo of the front end I've seen yet, and the gas cap is visible!! AWESOME!!! nice find Dragon =]

Georgianne 02-22-2008 02:38 PM

I like how the steering wheel is coming out. :headbang: I hope it stays. I'm getting used to the middle of the dash also. It sorta resembles the CTS.

TFord 02-22-2008 02:41 PM

a thing of beauty

Jay 02-22-2008 02:50 PM

looks saweeeeeeeeeeeet!!!! Is it me or those brakes finally look bigger?

And yes the front scoop is open too... now those side ones need to open up..... and for the love of god... .please take the camo off!!!

num1panthersfan 02-22-2008 02:54 PM

Damn, It looks so mean!!!

radz28 02-22-2008 03:12 PM

YEAH, the rear look almost like 4-piston and the front look almost like at least 4 or even 6-pistons! SWEET!!! Maybe that's the TOL version...

mabe or it could be that white background in contrast to the darkness inside the rim makes it look bigger....hope it is bigger though

acscamarochick06 02-22-2008 03:46 PM

I thought the camo was supposed to come off for good??

Does this mean that it will be POSSIBLE to drive this thing on snow & ice?! :confused0068: Awesome!

I'm ready for the production headlights though!

AirGoya 02-22-2008 04:11 PM

About the camo... remember I think Lutz said they were going to take it off because of aerodynamics and heating/cooling. This looks like the camo is painted.
It does look really bad ass!!! The front looks mean.
I'm also glad to see the brakes are bigger. That would be cool if they are 6 piston in the front like you said radz. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

SSmoked 02-22-2008 04:27 PM

EXCELLENT someone learned how to use a camera.

Emher 02-22-2008 04:46 PM

Why shouldn't it be possible? And I know for sure there are A LOT of guys around here that want one :D

TheMadHatter99 02-22-2008 05:05 PM

That front end is so sinister.

I love it; however I can't help wondering how a nice billet grille would look there. Especially one that moves the emblem to the side of the grille and fills the rest almost entirely with aluminum (think Shelby GT grille). I think that could look really sharp.

SilverTurtle 02-22-2008 05:16 PM

they look bigger to me, too... finally look like they are something other than one piston brakes... and testing those brakes in the cold is probably why its testing in Europe right now.

GothamCamaro 02-22-2008 05:58 PM

Stop... my body can't take it much longer.... the Camaro looks better with each spyshot, this time seeing the grill, it's snarlin' at us!

Jak 02-22-2008 06:07 PM

Wonder if they'll offer the camo as a paint option?:bellyroll: . Is it wrong to love a car this much even though you haven't seen it in person? Cause I freaking love this car!!!

Gatecrasher 02-22-2008 06:51 PM

Those are DEFINITELY Brembo calipers.

I'll even go to far as to say those are the same calipers used on the 2004-2008 CTS-V. With the script on the side, they even look like parts-bin CTS-V units.

4 piston front, 4-piston rear. The Challenger, Charger, Magnum and 300C SRT models use a similar arrangement.

I hope those brakes are not limited to just a top of the line SS model. I'd LOVE to option those out on a Z28. :D

Killer CamAro 02-22-2008 06:54 PM

You can barely see the gas cap, its just takin a peek right infront of the bra.

TheMadHatter99 02-22-2008 06:58 PM

Anyone else think the wheels look a bit odd? They look really flat to me, almost as if they were photoshopped.

Then again I just had my pupils dialated so maybe that's just me.

it could be the custom duckt tape job, like it was seen on the other prepo's

DGthe3 02-22-2008 07:58 PM

I love that evil grin the new Camaro has. its as if it can smell fear. I can't wait to:Whoa5thGenSmall:

Brangeta 02-22-2008 07:59 PM

I pretty much like everything except for the shark fin on the roof and the non functional rear brake ducts. :D

No offence, but how does that scoop look open to you? It clearly looks blocked off about an inch or so inside the opening. Also, I thought Camero hinted to us in another thread replying to a post by me that this grille wasn't going to make it to production. He didn't say that but it was implied, or at least would be a lower model grille. Either way, HURRY UP!!

It looks blocked to me too. It's so hard to tell with it being black, but it looks shiny inside like the rest of the paint on the front end.
