DYNO DAY

we have been asked about a dyno day. we are getting a late start on are spring time dyno day. what do you guys think what sat or sun do you think we can get one in.

Dynamite 05-06-2013 11:55 AM

So what exactly is this? I know what a Dyno is, but what is Dyno day?

streetracer 05-06-2013 01:16 PM

Same question. What do you do at a Dyno day? Mines been done for sometime now. What happens if you make my car run worse? Ruin my tune of break my car? Never been sure what is done.

What happens if my numbers are better then your tuner can produce? I've wondered this about these detail days also. Do they tell you a Shamie sucks and you should not let your wax dry on your car. Do they tell you about the master blaster.

Just confused is all. Good luck with what ever it is you do.

Wow Streetracer what's with all the negative vibes?

KKreme15 05-06-2013 02:26 PM

Dyno days are for car enthusiasts to get together and talk about their cars/watch dyno pulls

KKreme15 05-06-2013 02:27 PM

Not any tuning involved

Great day for a dyno day.

Saturdays work best for me!

atma 05-06-2013 05:44 PM

same question

what happens at a dyno day? do velociraptors spit acid in your eye and then show you pictures of their kids wile their friends laugh 'cus you can't actually see anymore? do they find out what kids used to call you in elementary school that you absolutely hated and tell all your friends so you can never escape it for the rest of your natural born life? i'm just asking.

not familiar with dyno day. i know what a dyno is. what's the dyno day?
do they impale the heads of your family members on poles and have a parade with them? they use a burning charcoal to cauterize your anus shut?

i have no idea. just, you know, throwing some completely random guesses out there. i know what dynosaurs are. i just don't know what happens at a dyno day. i bet it's the parent head parade one. but I don't know. what is it?

Tyger 05-06-2013 07:14 PM

Basically, your car is put on the dyno, and a full range test is conducted. You'll find out what your car actually puts out at the rear wheels through the RPM range.

Please don't be affended, but you lack the balls to type "damn" like a real man. :threadjacked:

Wow, This Turned Funny Real Quick.

Tim, What Type Of food We Talking. I Missed Last Year, But Remember The Pictures Of The Food. It Looked Awesome!

LOL Yes you are confused. If Ed is tuning at the dyno day your good tune will become a great tune. You sound like you have had a few bad experiences. I suggest not waiting for the dyno day and getting over to see Tim now to get your tune optimized.

SerenitySS 05-07-2013 06:56 AM

I loved doing Dyno Days back in Utah. So if its on a day I can make it I'll come out!

So let me get this straight. You are living in TN and are lurking around the forum thinking about how you can get your post count up so why not post in a thread on a subject you have no intentions on attending.

Please dont be offended but its looks like your opinion doesnt really matter anyways according to the responses you got from just about everyone in this thread.

streetracer 05-07-2013 12:24 PM

First Rumblbe I don't feel I have a bad tune and have had no bad experiences. That's why I asked what goes on at a Dyno Day. It's good that it turns out to be a get together B/S day I'm down for that. Was worried some guy everyone thinks is a great tuner would miss my tune up and as it turns out I don't have to worry about that.

I've been to a lot of Camaro functions but never a Dyno Day so that's why I asked. Didn't mean to sound negative and I want to thank the members who provided the great answers to my question n the rest "it is what it is"

Have a Sparkly Dyno day n happy motoring.
