Spotted

Spotted this in Nottingham today. It was parked at the side of Rock City, a heavy metal & grunge hang out. Probably explains the Matt black 'stealth' look. Not sure about the gold, but do like Matt black, looks proper hard as nails.

Rock city is a venue I have frequented many many times, being an old heavy metal boy.
I quite like the gold accents against the matt black. Normally I'm not a fan of matt black wraps, as it just looks like the vehicle is in primer. Interesting to note that that car is a 1SS (assuming the badge and facia are original), but it has LT style 19 inch wheels on it.

Heavy Metal :headbang:

I was in there myself two weeks ago, twice in a week, once to Saxon & then 4 nights later to see Michael Schenker. Louder the better!

LOL! Back in the day perhaps. Licence too precious these days. (says the man who is up to his 7th speeding ticket in 30 years, including one in America).:paddle:

Lol might be an idea, nothing worse than seeing a rare camaro in the UK and not knowing whose it is, I mentioned in a previous post, I past someone in birmingham a few months ago, noticed it coming the other way flashed its headlights at me, and i did the same. Was purple in colour, but have never seen it again.

Just seen this in the car park under the Cambridge City Hotel - sorry about the poor quality, my girlfriend took them on her 5 year old phone. I've noticed a UK spec 13-plate in the same colour scheme in Cambridge and Newmarket; what with mine as well they're common as muck here.

Nice FIND.
Adventurous to venture into a car park.
Hope it has reverse parking sensors !! it looks close :-O

Spotted at Ashby Folville car/bike meet on Tuesday, a Dolerean. Was it yours Jules? Reg was something like ORR ...

Some tasty cars there including 3 Vets, a couple of Stangs (+ a Steve McQueen-like Bullit jobby), Ford GT40 (was it real?) and of course a 2013 Camaro SS V8 Auto with polished alloys and black stripes !

jules1200 06-15-2013 12:53 PM

Hi Rick, no wasn't me, do know the car though, it's quite a small community, as you can imagine. My mate went & said it was packed.

Not a Gen 5 but I spotted this whilst at Le Mans. Obviously the one in front is mine; size difference was a surprise to me. - HTC One is crap at focusing sorry.

stray bullitt 06-28-2013 04:43 PM

Loving the stacks of empty bottles next to the car. A good time all round by the looks of it. :D

redleader 06-28-2013 04:56 PM

Phatz 07-01-2013 12:32 PM

Phatz 07-02-2013 03:31 AM

Nope thankfully - but I know the guy in the UK who it does belong too and he stepped out unscathed!

Went to a small local village carnival today. There were lots of nice old classic & retro cars there, but also this;

Good for him, well, stepping away unscathed. In addition to being just awesome, this car does a good job of letting people walk away from accidents.
